The day had just started, but Akemi was already knocking on the door of room 1.

"Kuni-san? Are you here? We need to have a talk about your harem."

Koryn is just finishing getting ready for the first event of the day. He sticks his head out the door at the Hida's comment, "My what!?!?"

Akemi used the opportunity to just force the door open with the strength of her mechanical arm before he could react, brandishing her densai, that was displaying a list of names, coordinates and miscellaneous information. She read them out loud:

"Daidoji Ishiyo. Crane. Pilot. Rich. Expect to meet you soon. Adore flying. Might love cutesy stuff. Definitely doesn't like talking about her family's business.

Moshi Atena. Mantis. Communication officer. Shugenja. Want to meet you again. Appreciate talking about psychology and tender people who laugh at her jokes.

Utaku Hyeon-ju. This one you know better than me.

Maybe others, I'm not in the known of every gossip."

She shoved a paper with the com' numbers of the first two members of the list in his hands.

"You're quite the Casanova aren't you?"

"I don't know what you are talking about Hida-san, what is a Casanova?" He looks confused as she comes in, Inu perched at the end of the bunk squawks at the intruder. "You told me about Daidoji-sama last night, and I remember meeting Moshi-san, she seems quite nice, likes books and such. We talked about the dangers of exploring the nine realms during the garden party."

Akemi sighed internally:

"... Just stay yourself, okay? I think that's part of your charm.

I'm just asking that you don't forget to schedule meetings with some if not all of them if you can. Plus any girl who might come and ask you directly.

Also...

May I enter? The corridor is not a place for a discussion."

He steps aside letting her in, "Well noone has come and asked me to my face, but I promise to contact the Daidoji and the Moshi today and try to set up a meeting."

She gave him a thumb-up and closed the door behind her:

"I'm not asking for more.

Tell me Koryn-san, if I remember correctly, you've told us you didn't know this was a miai right? So you actually came here not with nice clothes and presents, but with your full battle equipment instead?"

"I have my Fatigues, and my Steelsilk Flight Suit and my Dress Uniform, so I mean thats all the clothes you need right?" He smiles, "Gifts though, no not really, was I supposed to bring gifts?"

"Could have helped, but you'll find nice things in the shop here too.

A steelsilk suit really? Can I see it? Other unusual equipment? Gas mask, thermal vision googles, web gun?"

"Well Gasmasks are standard issue as part of flight suits usually, mine came with the Steel Silk Suit, it was one of my grandparents." He smiles and opens the little closet area and pulls out the flight suit to show the Hida, "It's kinda cool, isn't it?"

"Yes, it's quite incredible. Almost as good as stopping bullets and blades as my far more cumbersome armor for a not a tenth of its weight.

Since it was your grandpa's before, I guess it's not tailor-made and could fit someone else?"

"Yes I guess thats possible, but I couldn't give it away, I can't re-gift an ancestral item!"

"Of course. However, I was wondering if I could borrow it for the night?"

He raises an eyebrow, "Do you have plans tonight you would need a flight suit for?"

"Well, it's bit complicated. I might or might not have stepped into trouble, and that trouble could or could not be the kind where wearing a steelsilk suit would help. If I was to borrow it, there's like a 99% chance I'll just return it tomorrow without even having gotten it out of its storage bag.

But in the last remaining 1%, could be the difference between a bullet to the heart or not."

He weighs it for a few moments, "You promise you will bring it back?" He can't exactly let a clan mate get killed when he could stop it. "I....I guess it would be ok....just be really careful with it please?"

"Sure! Actually, could you show me how to properly put it on and put it back into storage? I want to be extra sure it'll be pristine by tomorrow. Oh, I can also have it washed if you tell me how to take care of that too."

Umm I" He looks slightly embarrassed, "you don't wear a lot under it, and when it vacuume seals it shrinks a little to fit your form, it's actually possible to wear it under clothes, though its a little bulky, would make you look like you had an extra layer of muscle." He smiles, "You definitely want to heat clean it, I mean it wont rust or anything if you get it wet, but it is mostly water proof, and air proof, and definitely not machine washable. "

"Okay, so it's closer to a wetsuit than a standard armor then? One piece, slip into it, zip it good?"

"Yep it covers toes and hands, and has a little hoodie in back that covers the back of the skull, there is a gas mask-face shield-mempo that goes with it. Its made to be able to move in, but still provide some protection. Not as good as heavy armor, but much more moveable, though I guess that doesn't mean much to you"
