Ganbold had arrived just a bit early to check that everything was in its rightful place. The event promised to be...eventful, and it was good to take a little bit of care...for once.

Finally satisfied that the servers had it all in hand, he plopped down in a seat and crossed his arms across his broad chest, waiting for the first guest to arrive.

An only somewhat dripping Yul came in the door, grimacing as he brushed water from his form. He had actually dressed up a bit for the occasion, wearing his uniform jacket with the damned stiff collar.

"I gotta get some rain gear." Yul grumped. "Not something I usually have to worry about on a ship. Hey, Moto-san." Yul greeted his friend with a nod, even as he continued to try and dry himself off.

The first Lion to arrive was, much like Yul, dripping wet from the rain and in uniform. “Oh, Shinjo-san, looks like you got caught up in the rain, too.”

She turned her attention to the Moto in the room and offered a polite bow. “Thank you for the invitation, Moto-san. I look forward to meeting the rest of your Clan’s representatives here.”

For Ruhe, elegant meant a lot of black leather and silver studs, and in such an outfit did he appear. Rain was of course trickling from it, glistening, but it didn't soak in anything but Ruhe's hair. Greeting cousins and acquaintances, he took his place. "Nice weather today! Good to see you all. So, what's the plan for this meeting?"

"Hey, folks!" Ganbold called back cheerily. "It was my pleasure to help out, Matsu-sama." He nodded toward Yul and Ruhe. "I hope that some kind of connection between the Lion and the Unicorn can be found, here. But, Moto-san, I don't have a real serious plan. More just a hey-there-how-are-ya kinda thing. Maybe some tea? Some laughs?"

"I should have figured it'd rain like this on any day I'm supposed to wear my dress uniform." Yul said, smiling wryly.

He nodded approvingly to Ganbold. "Sounds good to me. Hey, Moto-san." Yul greeted Ruhe cheerfully. "Maybe a little music, huh?"

"Ever for that, mate!" Ruhe laughed. "It's all cool, let's wing it." It was like a pass for Yul to deliver an obligatory flyboy joke.

"Wing it, huh?" Yul smirked, delivering as expected. "Once Hyeon-ju-san shows up, we'll have enough Skyriders to make a wing."

"I suppose it's a wing now then," Hyeon-ju remarked, having heard Yul's words as she stepped inside.

Raincloak and umbrella had kept her dry on her trip over, as she was not someone to let rain ruin her fashion. Today her makeup had a more fun and colorful vibe, with pink and green in sharp colors, and turqoise-colored fake-crystals underneath one eye. Which complimented her choice of outfit well, a modern and hip twist on the hanbok of old, with splashes of colors and decorative tassels added on.

"How is everyone?"

Oh no. She was the only Lion here so far. Hide offered a polite bow to the newcomers. “Matsu Hide. It’s a pleasure to meet you all. Even those of you I already have had the pleasure to meet.”

The Utaku caught Hide’s attention. Those types always draw attention. It seemed to be the reverse of her own Clan in make up, as well. One woman and a bunch of men? Interesting.

Nozomi made her way over to the group. She looked around and let out a relaxed sigh. "Hi," she announced to everyone, pressing her glasses up. She glanced around, looking at the Unicorn's reactions and focus when it came to the Lion before them.

"Utaku Hyeon-ju, hohei of the 7th Sky Rider Wing. A pleasure, Matsu-san. And a pleasure to meet you again, Kitsu-san," the Utaku greeted both Lions in turn with a curt and efficient bow.

That she was the only woman among men didn't seem to be something that she thought about at all. Most of it was because it just hadn't really registered with Hyeon-ju, as her brain was operating more in Flyer/Non-Flyer divisions.

"Heya, Utaku-san, Kitsu-san!!" Ganbold's happy voice rumbled from his seated position as he rose for a bow. "Good to see you both!!"

"Good to see you too, Moto-san. Good showing yesterday in the Biathlon. Hope you haven't been getting into too much trouble?" there was a brief smile, as if she was seriously trying to be more relaxed and... approachable.

"Well...no, not too much trouble. Nearly threw my hips out tryin' the Moshi Moshi dance machine...and Shinjo-san and I went lizard-spottin' with Kitsune Izumi, but nothing too bad went down, as I recall."

"Kitsu-san." Yul greeted the now familiar face. "Good to see you again."

He glanced around frowning gently, but didn't say anything else. After a moment, he reached up, adjusting his uniform collar with a wince.

Ruhe greeted his kinswoman with a handshake, then turned to the Lion. While 'Ju was definitely a woman and not an unattractive one, and an attractive woman-pilot checked more than one box, it didn't ping for Ruhe that he could look at her from a different perspective than just through their shared Clan identity. It probably had something to do with intuitive adherence to the old laws of Shinjo and the imperative to actually make some alliance ties.

"Hey, Kitsu-san. I think I saw you at Kisada's Shrine but didn't want to impose at that time as you were in some conversation that looked important. Well met! I am Moto Ruhe."

Ruhe got a solid handshake from the Utaku, who was unconcerned with others' perception of unseemly touching in public when it came to her clan's ways.

"I'll start ordering some drinks to be brought over to us." She didn't know if any more Lion would show up, but no reason to keep everyone thirsty.

Yul would just ask.

"Are the other Lion planning to show up?" He asked.

There was a shrug from the shorter Lion. “I was under the assumption they would all be here. But perhaps something came up? Hmmm.”

There was the slightest bit of worry knitting Hide’s brow. “I hope nothing serious happened.”
