Finished with his dinner, Tetsu returned to the Crab. The day before he had rigged the sound system. Now, with the wrestling show letting out and with rumors circulating to drum up business this might be the best crowd they could get.

"Good Evening Tomo-san. I'll be borrowing the sound system again if that's alright."

It seemed like it was a rather fortuitous night for the Drunk'n Crab. There was a good turn out after the wrestling event. The event was running less than subtle ads for Hida Blue Sash and there was word of mouth circulating around the settlement. There was also a share of Crab Silver Fin Production crew and their heimen who were relaxing after the show here, they were off the hook from any post-production work tonight.



Tomo was there, actually showing some smiles for once. It seemed that the previous signs were gone and were replaced with 'specials', 2 for 1 and bundle deals with food with marginal mark up. He nodded at Tetsu when he approached him. "Go ahead, Tetsu-san. If any body is taking up space, just tell them to move over slightly."

Nishdia also got to the Druk'n Crab. The wrestling match was a show to behold and he didn't want to miss out on their little musical event in the bar.

He entered togheter with Akechi and sat himeslef on the bar. "Good evening, fellow crabs" he greeted more or less everyone in the facility.

Ruhe came back, ready to rock. He took a round to offer handshakes to the Crab he knew and introduce himself to those he didn't.

Tetsu grins and offers a firm handshake. "I kept the sound from last night. Are you ready to rock?"

Hearing that there was going to be live music in the bar, Atena decided to go to the Crab. She carried her umbrella just in case it wanted to rain once again, one never know when the rain will strike. The Moshi took a seat wondering what will they play.

Shion enters again, this time carrying both her guitar, her shamisen and a bag with her computer and some more equipment. She seems happy and more at ease than usual, as those who met her before may notice.

She greets Fundai, Nishida, Ruhe and Tomo with respectful, but not overly formal bows, and nodding to Fundai and Ruhe and now and them asking them about practical things she starts unpacking and getting her equipment ready to rumble.

Daidoji Kamui got been waiting for this performance all day, after overhearing the conversation 2 days ago. Kamui slides up to a chair near the Mantis.

"Hello, ally. I'm name Daidoji Kamui. I heard about this a few days ago, and it should be fun." He's in his tailored white and blue suit and while hair.

Tetsu greets Shion and heads over to the sound station, doing the last minute fixes before giving an affirmative gesture to the musicians. "You're good to go guys? Let's give the people what they're looking for!"

"He... hello... Crane sama... I just heard that there was going to be live music and wanted to see... and ... and hear." She smiled.

"I'm ready." Ruhe said, having plugged in the fiddle. "But today I think Shion should take the lead. It's only fair, right?" He looked at the Sparrow with sympathy, and his carefree grin.

"I was tending my bird a few days ago, and over heard the conversation. Sounds like the performance is about to begin..." He looks at the stage.

She nodded. "You kept your otori." She shrugged. "I let mine go ."

"Well, with this miai events, you never know a otori could come it handy." Kamui starts looking at the sake and other beverages."What looks good to you?"

The girl blinked a few times. "Anoooo...peach wine?" she smiled politely. "If one has the time to train it."

Kamui looks a bit puzzled by that answer, but smiles. "I prefer a good bourbon, myself. But, I'll try anything once... Would you like one as well?"

"I shouldn't have too many hard drinks." She shook her head. "Etooo... Crane sama, Where are you from? You have a peculiar accent."

She nods to him, smiling. "If you got other pieces you want to do, just say the word. But we can start with something of mine today then".

As they do the last checks, she gets her densai and swipes to a sheet music with some comments, then gets closer to Ruhe to show them to him. "Thought of starting with a modern arrangement of something traditional. An old rice-husking song that according to legend was traditional in southern Rokugan, Crab lands included. The arrangement" she swipes down and points to her notes "starts close to the original version, then changes to a base 5/4 with gradually increasing speed and some 3/4 bars at the end of sentences to 'emulate' the original 4/4 feel but leaving it a bit off." She stops for some time to see if he's following - she may get a bit carried away, and she knows it.

"Right... so, we can create some layering with the fiddle and shamisen and alternate our voices as lead/ backing with off-beat comments to make things more dynamic. And as we advance, we can open some space for solos, then when we return we can go 5/4, 3/4 more often to go back to a 4/4 and finish closer to the original but at high tempo. How's that sound? It was pretty clear that a few more clientele shuffled into the room and there was only standing room left around the Drunk'n Crab. There were local friends who met up after the show, eager to sample some 'exotic' Crab spirits both cheap and premium. And there were more of the production crew from the Silver Fin Productions that joined in, even a few of the low card wrestlers among them.

Seeing as the show hadn't started yet, they were content to grab their drinks and make orders for food. Since the occasion was good, they overlooked Tomo's rather suspiciously 'discount' special bundles.

After the show, Chiyoko grabbed a quick shower and headed to the Drunk'n Crab, having seen the prep work they put in yesterday for something. She didn't wear anything flashy, just a tank top and some sweatpants with a share of cool patches slapped onto her back for good measure.
