"We don't do a lot of flying till at least year three, before that its gunnery marksmanship training, and understanding how all the systems of the plane works. A lot of book learning and sim time honestly. I will admit I really liked the 3 weeks we spent on dogfighting techniques though!"

"Three weeks?" Ishiyo chuckled, "It is interesting to heah how ouh schools diffeh."

"What was you-eh favorite part? Mine was the dogfighting training. There is something about the thrill of close end fighting oveh the long range missile kills."

He closes his eyes a moment, "Floating in the void, outside the ship, just looking into the nothingness, its very...meditative"

"Yes," Ishiyo nodded, "And the hyperawareness of a real dogfight...is even harder to describe. You-eh heart is pounding as you try to keep track of a hundred things at once. And inattentiveness anywhere could get you killed. You are pulling R's you neveh expected to endure as machine and pilot are pushed to theih limits. Then a squeeze of the triggeh and boom..."

"I will admit we concentrate more on the technical skill of flying, the tactical moves, that sort of thing, formation size skirmishes over one on one, but dog fighting is just fun"
