Seeing the Ujina and...Ikoma...? Shokomaru nodded, but followed the heimin around a little, then got to work himself. Despite the rain, the group seemed organized and the chuui kept them that way.

Daigotsu-sama had put out the call and Satoru had little else to do so he arrived in his priestly garb which was resistant to liquids and stains he bowed to those present and set about doing what the monks needed. The Kuchiki was strong and had stamina which made him an excellent worker.

"Maybe they killed a large group of heimin and are now cleaning up? I have no idea what is going on."

Shoan nodded before raising her voice slightly and addressing the Spider present politely.
“Minna-sama, blessings upon you.”

Shokomaru gave a glance to the heimin to make sure they didn't look at the Lion, then faced her and the Hare.

"Good morning, nice day for Hotei's work, eh?"

"Of course Daigotsu-sama, every day is a good day to serve the fortunes.....is that what you have the heimin doing?"

"The Phoenix suggested we put in some time being pious", he shrugged. "So here we are. I thought it'd do this old shrine some good to have more than just a few spider who never do this sort of thing helping. Kisada-no-kami might just agree." He helped move a planter so the stone around it could be swept properly.

"But we'll see, I guess." he said, glad he'd grabbed some gloves.

Jin watched and nodded. "Blessings upon you. I am sure both Kisada-no-kami and or hosts will be glad for your hard work."

He eyed the heimin brought in for the hard work. "Do you wish any help?"

It seemed the nice thing to say. Plus his mother always preached about Compassion and Courtesy and crap like that. It wasn't shooting or jumping, so he didn't pay attention.

"Service is a samurai's own thing, wouldn't turn it down, but I can see you're having a conversation, don't don't let us interrupt", and he ordered the heimin onto the next spot, took the broom and swept up behind them as they went.
