"So they are holding back and not really fighting?"

Nara looked back at the ring, then back at Michiya.

"It's like a theater play then! I get it! That's interesting. I'm an actress, maybe I could do this too!"

"There is a bit of theatricality to it, but they are actually exerting themselves and using real combat maneuvers, just a limited selection of them. When they throw each other or use submissions, they use real techniques, but do so in a way that is considerate to their opponent. They wouldn't apply enough pressure with a lock or hold to actually break anything and when they strike, they tend to go for center of mass or more resilient body parts, avoiding sensitive spots or pressure points. It's more like they are pushing each other's resilience and endurance more than trying to damage them outright. And they do it in flashy and dramatic manner to provide entertainment and get the crowd to cheer for them. They likely get a similar feeling from a crowd chanting their name as you might when a fan tells you they appreciate one of your performances."

"Seppun-sama is really smart" Nara said, a little bit of awe on her face "I know how to shoot people, but they're not using guns. I don't know how to wrestle, is it easy to learn? Does Seppun-sama know how to wrestle?"

"I don't think it's any more dangerous than most worlds," he said with a nonchalant shrug, rather confused what the Crane was getting at. They said Crane were soft and this was perhaps one of the few times he thought that might be true, he was a Phoenix too. "I guess it's not easy...but we have open breathable air, no real threats to the settlement and plentiful of local resources. We could use more sports teams and a stadium but everything just works. Asakaze isn't a settlement on a gas giant or an ice planet. And we do provide security to our working force within the perimeter."

"There are...but you might have to be specific, Doji-san. There are a lot of different visions out there and especially as a governor, that could mean anything from where the city should have been staked and what colour to make the street signs."

"No, I'm no wrestler myself. Similarly, I'm more familiar with guns. I have no clue how difficult it is to learn it, but I can't imagine it's any easier or harder than any other martial art. Perhaps a bit more physically involved than shooting?"

"Hmm....I think Seppun-sama could do it. Maybe they'll teach people to wrestle?" Nara tilted her head, studying Michiya "Seppun-sama could do anything he set his mind to I think."
