"Only what i said before, really. War has become vanity, most would take that as a grave insult without much thought to why I say it", he contended. "I know I would be angry if the person saying so didn't have a little sincerity and was just trying to sound edgy."

"Oh!" she said, bringing her hands together but slowly, carefully. "You meant that you wished to put those words into your art then?" she said, but nodded. "Sorry I didn't catch that just before, Daigotsu-sama," she said, with a short laugh and then dipped her head.

"If you wished.. we could work on that together, yea? Should you wish to do something poetic with it, that is," she said with a short two nods.

"I'll have to make something to give you, then", he said, taking her offer seriously. "It might not be quite what you'd expect, but...well, life is like that, I guess."

"I'll look forward to it, whatever it is, Daigotsu-sama," she said with a small smile. Glancing around, "Oh!" she said, a small laugh. Pulling the package into her lap, "I suppose I should see to what this actually is, yea? After.." she shook her head, and didn't go on further by choice.

"After all that?" he laughed. "Yeah, well, have a look. Just know what I said before is true. It's not going to live up to my sincerity from earlier, it's just...well. You'll see."

And indeed she would, for inside the bag was just a small plushie of an otori that any meathead could have got at the Starcade's retro night.

Shokomaru scratched the back of his head. "So it's not such a big deal, but I'm glad I could get you to understand my appreciation for giving me your time."

"Awww," she was rather audible when she pulled the little Otori free from the bag. Moving aside the bag she set the plushie down into her lap and looked up to Shokomaru with a smile, "It's so cute, Daigotsu-sama!" she said with a little laugh, looking back at it.

Turning to him after a moment she dipped her head, "Thank you, Daigotsu-sama."

And there it was, pay dirt.

"Don't mention it, Doji-san", he said easily, unable to wipe the smile from his face.
