"Come on, Tsuruchi san no teasing." She pouted. "I know you can do well Ikoma san you have it in you." She could feel the air around the Ikoma and tried to give her confidence. "Besides Tsuruchi san will be next."

"Do you have a favorite, Ikoma-san? I'd prefer to do whichever one makes you most comfortable, yea?" she said, smiling as she stepped backward toward the station.

“Oh.... well there was one song that they played all the time in the barracks on my last tour. ‘Brightside-Sama’ by The Shinobi I at least know the lyrics to that song.”

"Okay~." Hayato replied flashing a teasing grin at his clanmate. The machine likely didn't have any songs he would know, so he'd have to play it by ear.

"Excellent!" she said, bringing her hands together happily. Looking through the machines many options she searched through them all. Sifting through with some speed. Stopping at a point, "Which clan represented them, Ikoma-san?" she asked, looking up from the screen with a furrowed brow.

“It’s one of the Scorpion rock ballads put out by Shosuro records.”
Surely they had the song...Shoan begins to worry her taste in music is as dated as her fashion.

With a soft smile she shook her head, "I'm seeing.. some Imperial songs, well a lot of those really," she chuckled a little. Looking back to the machine as she shifted through the different groups and genre. "Phoenix ones, of course. Some Unicorn and a some Crane but.." she twisted her bottom lip and shook her head. "I'm sorry Ikoma-san, I'm not finding anything from that group."

“Oh.... uh. Well maybe a Crane song you know then?”
Cringe “they... probably just have a small selection...”

"Don't worry Ikoma sama... you'll do fine... it doesn't matter if you know the lyrics, as long as you sing from your heart." The Moshi rooted on. "Besides you are amongst friend... well acquaintances or a bit more than that... yeah."

"Hmmm," she vocalizes as she shifts through the long lists. "Alright.. this one!" she picked one from the long list, looking up to Shoan with a smile. "Do you feel comfortable leading, Ikoma-san? I believe in you, but I'll lead if you want?"

Shoan bows her head to the Moshi, thankful for the support.

“Maybe you should take the lead Doji-san? That way I can try and get a sense of the beat. From there we can all start believing in eachother.”

Hayato set back as the ladies discussed their strategy, did you even have strategies while singing? He'd be up next so he had to think of what he should sing. He was rather lookign forward to hearing this though.

"Alrighty," she said, punching in a selection and then looking to Shoan. "Get ready," she said with a light laugh. What she'd selected was an a song that popped through all of Imperial space when it was originally released by the Crane. Of course, the song itself would be instantly recognizable to most who'd consider themselves generally aware of such things.

Two things became readily apparent, Ichika had no proper training in singing but she still sounded as beautiful as one might expect of a Crane. With a voice that was surely memorable to her little audience. Always though, she'd turn to her singing partner and give her a bright smile both when she was singing and when she wasn't.

It's uh....loud? Shoan looks like she's furiously blushing in embarrassment whenever Ichika smiles at her.

Atena sighed. She knew what bad singing was she herself sometimes was very off key. "Ikoma san just needs to warm up her voice." She commented to none in particular.

"Why don't we order some drinks then cousin?" Hayato replied after offering some applause for the two samurai.

He pffered the pair that were finished singing a smile. "That looked fun, maybe I'll have to try a diet before the night is through."

Atena nodded as she asked for warm lemon ginger tea with honey and milk. The other's probably would want some hard drinks.

When they finished Ichika came out of the singing laughing, nodding toward Shoan, "Did you have fun, Ikoma-san?" she asked, stepping once closer to be a little more conversational than the slight separation from the performance.

"Uh....I am...not sure. I think Moshi-san looked worried when I really missed that high note. But you were perfect Doji-san, you never told me you were a poet and a singer. It is a lot of different talents for one samurai to handle."

Shoan looks over at Hayato
"You...probably will want to pair with one of these other samurai...unless your voice compliments mine, in that case, fortunes help us all."

"Well, I'll likely be able to match with yours more then the two pop stars here." He indicated the Crane and his fellow Mantis as he made his way over to the karaoke machine.

Flipping through the songs he frosned slightly. He didn't recognize a single one. Well other then the old imperial ballads. "I suppose you'll learn that soon enough though."
