Ichika furrowed her brow, looked away and nodded. "R-right," she said, fiddling with her finger. "But you don't know who these Phoenix are, but you know they're Phoenix?" she asked, raising her brow.

"That could be hard.. Kuchiki-san," she shook her head, "but I think I may have an idea on where I can start. Yea?" she said, a soft smile. "You said it occurred at a shrine, yea? Maybe then there is a monk in the city who might be able to tell me more. I can start there and.." she furrowed her brow again, "Maybe.. I have a few other ideas."

"Relatively sure, Doji-san. It's a shrine local to the planet, that was constructed on the nexus on the elements. I suppose theoretically they could be fake Phoenix, but I suppose you can make that argument for anything." he said.

He shrugged a bit.

"Plus, real or fake, it's not like either Kitsune-sama, Nakauichi-san, or myself has any authority to look into matters. And even if I did, I doubt the Phoenix would listen to me."

"I'll see what I can figure out with asking around, yea?" she said with a little smile, nervous though as it clearly was and then nodded.

It wasn't exactly the reassuring 'I've got this!' that Tsugiharu had been hoping for. But Spider made do with what they had.

"Thank you Doji-san, I know it's a big ask, but I know I can trust you to handle this with the appropriate discretion. Less likely to end up with trouble from the local authorities for 'causing a panic' with you handling it, I feel." he said.

"Hmm, mhm," she vocalized, with a nod as she was fiddling with her finger. "Suppose if I find anything out I'll meet you back here then?" she said, already standing as she glanced around a little.

Tsugiharu nodded.

"You can stop by anytime, Doji-san, and you of course have my communicator number." he said.

Ichika nodded, breathing in a little and then smiling. Nodding she looked toward the door, "Should there be anything else, Kuchiki-san?"

Tsugiharu shook his head.

"Ie, I don't think so Doji-san, thank you for your time." he said.

With a quick nod, Ichika bowed to Tsugiharu and then with her hands still locked together she slipped out of the room. Once she was free she glanced up and down the hall, finding no one watching she let herself lean over a little and let the breath out. Hands on her knees for just the briefest of moments when she found herself alone she shook it off and righted herself. Standing tall, inhaling deep and exhaling again.

She could do this.
