Joo nodded. "That certainly does sound...well, unusual, at least. For you guys. Twins must be very close." He smiled, then started to slowly get off of his...high bird. Which wasn't his, by the by.

"Do you think you'll be able to weather it? Leaving home, your sister, for the starts and the great unknown?"

"I believe so." she nodded. "As much as I love things here, I've longed to see what's out there for most of my life. It would be easier, however, if I could share my experiences out there with someone else."

Joo smiled, then started slowly climbing off.

"Hai, experiences are best shared together." He thought fondly of his family outings. "Though, hopefully, neither of us will be alone by the end of the miai. That would be the goal, after all." He joked nervously.

"Hopefully we are matched agreeably." She nodded as she walked up to pet the otori again..

Joo returned the reins (?) of the bird to the Phoenix priestess. "Hai, hopefully." He smiled. "Perhaps even with...each other?"

"Perhaps." she offered him a friendly smile. "Suisei here approves of you. That's promising."

Joo smiled, petting the bird. "Oh, I see. Now I know who to flatter."

"Flattery certainly can't hurt." she nodded. "But, I am sure Iuchi-sama will find there to be many good candidates participating in the miai."

"HAi, I am quite sure. Arigatou for your time Shiba-san." He bowed to the priestess, as well as to the Otori seperately.

"It was wonderful to meet you."

"I've enjoyed meeting you, Iuchi-sama." she dipped her head. "I hope we see more of each other."
