So the final came down to Crab and Fox. Izumi had never been in a final before and he guessed neither had Tetsu. There would be a new Champion of Asakaze in the Fantasy Fight annals tonight.
The first game was tight to start, but Izumi's Fox Rush built up quickly and overwhelmed the Crab's carefully constructed defences.
The second game was much the same but ended with a true rarity. Crab built defences mowed down the Fox small critters with impunity but did little damage to Izumi's temples. Which gave him time to summon and use the 'Feather, Fur and Scale' combo of Imperial Peacock, Brown Mori Kuma and Emerald Orochi to smother the Crab's valiant backstop attempt.
The third game was not really necessary. Izumi was far too excited at winning his first championship and Tetsu continued the methodical pragmatic ways of the Crab to blunt the Fox Rush and topple the forest temples for a consolation win.
