Most probably not for the first time Yul found itself in Mumei's room with a half-naked lady.

Except this time the lady and Mumei were actually two different persons, and the situation wasn't nearly as pleasant as Akemi removed her loose shirt only to reveal a freshly skinned back.

A shrug was her only comment on the matter.

(yep room 4, so there may be a Spider doctor around as well. Hide is no doubt at the memorial)

Mumei hisses at the extent of the mess. "If they'd been half as diligent keeping that wreck sanctified there wouldn't be a funeral this morning."

She plucks the cup of tea prepared for the ritual with convenience store 'premium' tea, it's swirled gently in time to the invocation chanted off of the holoslate in her other hand. The spirits of water, movement, change rush to mend the damage. Each welt recedes, skin sealing and bruises fading.

Akemi stayed quiet as her body slowly got back into shape, then nodded:

"The Phoenix diligence for the wrong thing is kind of a running issue indeed. And from the many messages you've sent me, I'm not even sure if we have only one big problem or several distinct still very big ones all at the same time."

A famliar Man in a business suit entered the Wistera Inn to look after one of his clanmates, after locating the room in wich Akemi lives at the moment he gently knocked at the door to request entrance.

He will only find Kyoko in Akemi's room, but the servant will in turn escort him to Mumei's room, where he will be met with a vision of Akemi's naked and freshly magically healed back.

She will raise her head at his approach, looking reaaaaaaaaaaaaally tired, but certainly not ashamed.

"Yasuki-sama. Got the memo? At least the magistrate won't be able to doubt our word on that threat anymore..."

Yul was there as well, also stripped to the waist. The extent of the damage to his back couldn't be easily seen, as he stood with his back to the wall. He still wore his nicest uniform pants; Yul believed in dressing for the occasion, even when that occasion was punishment.

He grimaced slightly at the knock on the door, the grimace deepening as Nishida entered, Yul's eyes flickering briefly over to Akemi. "Yasuki-sama." Yul bowed to the man. The bow was a touch on the stiff and shallow side, and Yul's already pale face turned a touch more pale as the motion inflamed his injury.

"Nishida is cool Yul. And the Crab cannot be kept in the dark of what is happening right now. Especially when the Phoenix is doing such a poor job at dealing with it."

She herself glanced at Mumei, then went on, guessing she was probably in the known any way from the messages she had received:

"A bit too soon for another questioning I'm sorry... But you've identified the tsukai am I right?"

Nishida entered the room and reeted everyone with a quick bow "Greetings, minna-san. Yes Akemi-san, i got the note, a most distrubing one, but now, at least, no one can doubt Kuni-san's testimony."

Mumei offers a quick bow of welcome, "Yasuki-sama," before frowning at Yul and taking the two steps in his direction that were about all the space the small room had in it with a full contingent inside.

Slate balanced across cup leaves a hand free to squeeze his shoulder admonishingly "Stop moving until this is patched up," she chides, voice held tight. The sound of this invocation is possibly becoming rather familiar as she asks the water spirits to make him whole again. They're sluggish at first...and while it shouldn't matter, she takes the holoslate off the cup and offers a swirl as if enticing a shy animal by making sure they can smell whatever tasty offering is being used to tempt them close.

Apparently the effort is appreciated, because Yul's going to notice that any minor nagging aches or stiffness are pretty much eradicated as the water kami gleefully answer Mumei's call.

The thin sheen of water slicking his skin may be a less desireable side effect.

Lips twisted in amusement at the admonishment. "I've never been good at sitting still." He murmured.

Amusement turned into relief as the healing took hold... and then back into amusement as he found himself coated with a light sheen of water. Still shirtless, well, it was actually a pretty good look on him, highlighting the fine masculine lines of his body.

"Thank you, Mumei-san." Yul said. He brushed water off his torso onto his hand, flicking it at her with a smile. Then he cleared his throat. "Ah, Hida-san, do you have a towel?"

Akemi smiled at the small incident, a smile well needed in this time of stress, and called Kyoko to provide for. The servant quickly brought a fresh, even perfumed towel, opening the door just enough to squeeze it through, letting the samurai to their privacy.

The fun wouldn't last long though.

"But seriously Yul, the Crab needs your intel."

Murmuring thanks, Yul quickly toweled himself off; it left his hair just a little damp. Another moment, and he'd pulled on one of his plain white tank-tops, arms still bare.

"Right. Okay." Carefully, he folded up the towel, setting it aside, acting on habit. The tsukai was the fashion designer, Isawa Shin. He used magic to control a dress..." a shudder, "-as well as one of those things we saw on the ship the other day." A quick glance at Nishida, but he understood him to be the one who gave the report.

He chewed his lip a moment. "I think he's the same one we heard on the ship. But I can't say for sure. I hope so. Only one tsukai to kill would be better." Yul folded his arms over his chest.

If i rememebr correctly you heard him on the ship? Would you recognize his voice if you would hear him?"

"Maybe." Yul grimaced. "We kinda had a lot going on at the time. And we weren't expecting it, you know?"

"This is not an accusation, it would just be good to know if we are dealing with one or more Maho Tsukai."

Yul crossed his arms over his chest, his eyebrows going up a little. "I didn't think you were, Yasuki-sama. And I agree, it would be good to know. I've tried listening to a clip of Isawa Shin's voice, but I'm afraid I'm just not sure if it's the same voice we heard."

He shrugged, bare shoulders rising and falling. "I think so, but I wouldn't testify to it."

Mumei listens, carefully resting one palm against Yul's back, just below his shoulderblades, knowing that taking away the injury doesn't soothe all the damage, and simply craving the connection as the conversation shifts to darker things.

Quietly, she asks, "would it help if someone could...say...splice some of this guy's existing recordings into the words you heard? I Know a Sparrow with some great audio skills."

The muscles in Yul's back around Mumei's hand, previously tight, slowly relaxed. He took a deep breath, leaning into that touch, just a little. Two Crab witnesses did not make for the most tender of moments.

Pursing his lips, Yul nodded. "Yeah. That probably could help. Ummm... he said something like 'I tire of this, kill them now, they'll replace the others'." He shivered, tangible against Mumei's hand. "Not what you want to hear when fighting weird mushroom zombies, believe me."

Her fingers tense at the words, because really, even past tense, 'kill them all' directed at your boyfriend is a bit distressing.

Slipping her communicator out, she types one-handed.



"Hmm, so who all am I sending this too if she's able to do it? You two, and my Alliance-mate, and..." She doesn't bother stating which MCA member she figures was with them, since she doesn't really know how much they've told Nishida and that's not her secret to spill.

Nishida raised an eyebrow. "Is this really the time for more secrets? Aren't two funerals enough for one miai?" he asked calm.
