Joo noticed he wasn't alone. Seeing the situation here, he frowned....and then figured they might as well be lonely together?

He slowly moved closer, than gave a bow to her, but didn't say a thing.

“Iuchi-san, you were at Matsu-san’s funeral earlier?”
She gestures to the temple
“I didn’t mean to disturb your prayers.”

Joo nodded solemnly. "Oh, you didn't. I didn't meant to disturb yours either." He gestured to the same temple.

"You...you didn't either. Um..."
It seemed to Shoan that even mourning the dead could be sufficiently awkward
"I am Shoan of the Murame who serve the Ikoma it's not to not be disturbing you Iuchi-san."

"Iuchi Joo-Woo." He smiled, though it was a solemn one. "Well then, if neither of us is disturbing the other...may I join you?" His head gestured towards the icon.

“Of course.”
It’s probably just a trick if the light but for a second it’s as though the icon gestured back.

“So umm... did you know Matsu-san well?”

Joo settled down into a praying posture. He would not have been surprised to be winked at by Kisada at this point.

"At least the temple is not made out of mushrooms."

"In that, it might be unique on Asakaze. If there is a samurai who loves fungus...and I am sure the Phoenix have one or two, this is their paradise."

"Certainly. I'm glad no one here is allergic to mushrooms. At least...I hope they're not." He shuddered at the thought. "What are your thoughts on the planet Murame-san?"

"I was always taught to say good things about my hosts. As such all I shall say is that it will be good when I leave. And your thoughts Iuchi-san?"

Joo let out a silent laugh. "Well, Murame-san is certainly Courteous and kind." He smiled. "So far...quite interesting. In a good way, not the Lion way. Granted, I spent almost a week in the hospital, so I missed a few things, I hear."

"I'm glad you recovered in time to join us, you will have to socialise twice as fast to find an appropriate spouse, although I know that is rarely a problem for a Unicorn."

"Hai though, I need to catch up quick. Hopefully I'll be able to manage."

"I would say I know Shinjo Yul-san well....although I missed him this morning. Utaky Hyeon-Ju is also know to me."

"I was actually considering marrying Yul-san at one point, but it was not to be, a dinosaur intervened. I am sure you will be able to manage as well, if not better than your cousins."
Still, the Lion was too polite to just ask why the Unicorn had been in hospital
"Kitsu-Nozomi-san from the service is a talented healer, if you should have need of her to support your stamina."

"Ah, a...dinosaur?" He was surprised. "How...did that happen? I met Kitsu-san, though I am feeling much better now, after our hosts managed to get me back on my feet." He didn't miss the dry note, barely. "Hopefully yes. It would be best if I can leave here with a marriage contract. Ideally."

"I do not have all the details, but I understand that a drifter acted as an unintentional 'wingman' for Yul-san...a very violent wingman."
Looking quit interested all of a sudden

"You met Kitsu-san already? What did you make of her?"

"Oh, she was quite nice. An avid reader, from what I gather." He smiled. "A...drifter? As a wingman? This planet is we-..interesting, I mean interesting."

"Yes...that does sound like Kitsu-san. There is much about her to recommend. Although if you can get her to show you what she's reading...well, then you're doing well."

Nodding with faux seriousness
"Yes, I think it was just as surprised as everyone else present. And then the things it saw....well, it must have been a strange day for the creature. And then it was shot less than a week later."
