"What's so interesting about watching me?" He asked with a soft chuckle. "Think you're gonna learn something?"

"Then how did you think I might do?" Hayato was a bit interested. "Think I'd just wiggle my feet around or something?" The young Mantis finished his tone teasing.

"Mmmm, not like that."

The song wrapped up and Tenma stepped back, leaning against the railing as the score came up; She wasn't particularly interested in hers at the moment.

"You just seem kind of straight laced in some ways, stiff. Like a businessman or something, even though I know you're a bushi. Maybe it's the combination of the way you dress and your smoking habit. But you can really move, you know?"

"Thats the family rearing it's head there." He backed off from the machine and looked over towards Tenma. "My father is a business man, kinda wanted me to follow after him. So I know a bit about that sort of thing."

He offered the lovely woman a playful wink. "But I'm a bushi at the core."

"So I've come to notice. You're definitely more than just some business man barfly."

That got a happy smile on lips slightly shiny from lip balm.

"Do you want to try solo next or watch me? I'm fine either way."

"Hrm, you go." Hayato replied hopping off the pad Nd walking over to collect his coffee. "I'll try harder if I know what it is I have to beat." The Mantis finished with a grin.

Tenma nodded, putting down her hood and hitting continue.

"Sounds good to me. Let's see here..."

Leaning against the machine, she picked something a little more high energy, maybe a little more peppy at the least, and got herself ready. Not having Hayato to watch she was laser focused on the game, dancing proverbially like no one was watching. And she was definitely good at it.

Yup, he had definitely only managed to keep up because she was watching him. Not that Hayato terribly minded, she was a gymnast after all, and that usually included a little bit of dance training.

"You are good." He replied with a wry smile, as the song finished. "Loads better then me at lest."

"Did you play alot of this too when you first started in at the arcades?"

A teeny bit sweaty from the effort, Tenma didn't seem to hear Hayato at first as she kept dancing, only turning after the song finished a moment later, "Hm? Did you say something? I get kind of... in the zone when I concentrate on something too much."

She stepped nimbly off the dance platform and up to him with a hop in her step, stopping with her hands behind her back, "My apologies if you did, Tsuruchi-san, really."

"Mmmm.... Don't mind it." Hayato replied with a crooked smile on his lips. "You did seem to be in the zone after all."

"It was more or less just me saying you're good anyways."

That got a happy smile, "Well thank you. Flattery will get you everywhere with me. So, did you want to give it a try, or can't keep your eyes off of me?"

Now it was her turn to tease, for once.

"Mmmm... I think I'll get in trouble if I spend all my time staring at a pretty girl. So likely best if I give it a go."

He stepped up onto the pad and turned to give her a wink. "It gives you a chance to get an eyeful too."

"And I do recall asking for one too, hai."

Leaning against a nearby arcade cabinet, Tenma kept her focus on the Tsuruchi, more than interested in watching how he would do too. Well, amongst other things...

Hayato picked a song, it was [url-https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GmC-glXUvmI&list=PLC130454A136E311E&index=15]pretty upbeat[/url] but as far as difficulty went it wasn't all that high. At least for the most part, and while he was experienced it was obvious he didn't have the natural agility that the Bayushi did.

Tenma could definitely tell that much. Still, Hayato-san seemed to have good reaction time on the notes, and a sense of timing and rhythm, even if his actual moves were a little more plodding than her own. After he finished, Tenma gave a polite little clap, "Not bad. Just the one miss and a few Poor notes. Especially for looking good while doing that."

He laughed at that and stepped off the pad. "And here you were dreading being able to beat me at anything." The Mantis replied his tone teasing.

"But I imagine your good at a lot of things I'm not. Our skill sets are just different."

"True. You just feel more... together, if that makes any sense. Mature. When you're probably not even that much older than me, neh? Either way, thank you. For being you, that is. Being around you makes me happy, Tsuruchi-san~"

He glanced her way a wry smile making it's way onto his lips. "Yeah, I've got a couple years on you at twenty, but it's not just age that makes someone more mature. It's experience." Hayato finished with a playful wink.

"Still glad to hear you're happy being around me, you're quite nice to be around yourself."

"Experience?"

That seemed to get the shortish woman excited, "Does that mean you have interesting stories to share perhaps?"

"Probably a few." Though she likely didn't want to hear the one's he had been referring to. "I've been to a few different planets and seen battle a few times."

"We HAVE to get together another time so you can tell me all about your travels then! This is my first time off planet myself, so I'd absolutely love to walk and talk and such some time, hear all about it."

She didn't even know there was a specific incident he was referring to, but she probably would have been interested had she known there was one. As was, her eyes were already sparkling with excitement, hands held up in little fists of additional excitement.
