I think we have a short window where they're gonna blast Akihiko, so if you can book it to the good cover, that's maybe better than hassling with going prone. Especially since we don't know how many/how fast guys are coming out of the barn.

From the last map update, I'm just imagining Akemi shouting around with the tip of her stealthy Hida blue helmet poking out and well visible from far while Koseki and Hide are using the distraction to do their best ninja impression.

Do we try to retreat? We're just getting shot like rabbits for now, and haven't even closed half the distance yet.

We're not in a good place, really. Although dice have at least something to do with it.

Retreating sounds like it means Eriko dead, yeah. Changing tactics might be a good idea... But not sure what to. Run for cover, maybe. Maybe someone could climb the tower if we manage to drop that guy and shoot from there?

Akemi will focus on reaching the building and free Eriko but she needs at least two turns for that.

Akihiko must be in heavy wounds penalty by now. Likely to retreat or to switch to Defense Stance and run and duck for cover.

The tower is one billion movements away sadly (or at least two full turns doing nothing but trying to reach for it) so best strategy is probably still to try to outshoot the sniper before his next turn... But with our respective dice pools, will be quite hard.

Oh, also, there are a bunch of other guys we haven't even met yet.

Dice pools-wise, we Def could be better. Maybe shoulda run for cover before we started blasting... But well.

Instead of all shooting, I think that even with Water 2, you've got just enough movement to reach the truck before her. Maybe Hide should run to intercept and Koseki shoot, or the other way round?

Would grant cover at the one near the truck atop of that.

Also said this in Discord: Gotta rush tattoo lady. If someone with a good shooting dice pool can line up a shot, maybe take that, but full blitz seems like the way to go. Especially since Gorou will probably start coming down so he doesn't get left behind, so he'll stop shooting for a turn or two.
