Yul came to stand beside Ichika as she sat. Hesitantly, almost carefully, he put his hand on her shoulder, comforting her in the Unicorn way.

"Maybe." Yul said, his voice soft. "I mean, I can't tell why another person does something." He chewed his lip a moment. "But if it was me, it might be because I was feeling guilty. Maybe I'd failed you. And seeing you would remind me of that."

Smiling gently, he shook his head. "But that's not an excuse. I shouldn't... just because something's hard for me, I shouldn't not be there for... a friend, when she needed me. I should be brave enough to face my mistake." For a few moments, Yul's gaze went distance.

Shaking his head, he gave her shoulder a little squeeze. "Either way, it's not you, Ichika-san. Don't worry that it's you, okay?"

With him standing beside her, rather than craning her neck, she let her gaze drop just in front of her. Which made it easy to turn her face a little when she felt his hand on her shoulder and the blush came to her cheeks.

"Still all happened because of me though, yea?" she shook her head a little. "I should have known better. Don't have the ability to complain much when it's my fault I was even out there. When I wasn't supposed to be out there. Just cause I was annoyed.." she sighed a little. "I-" she shook her head. "Anyway.. I just- I guess I kinda wanted you to know Yul-san but I didn't-" she shook her head again. "I wasn't sure it was right."

Yul sighed. "If it helps, I've been there, too. Nothing permanent... at least, I'm pretty sure not." Yul's eyes closed for just a moment. "But even just recently, I was stupid, and someone got hurt. Nevermind. It's not about me."

His hand shifted to her other shoulder, squeezing her against him. It was an awkward sort of hug, but an honest one, at least. "And hey, I told you you could tell me anything, and I meant it. It's always right, okay?" He smiled down at her.

There was a small 'meep' of a sound, a little unexpected as it was. Still, she leaned into it as much as her position could allow. Pausing in that moment, like the world stopped and she could take her time to hold onto every little bit of her senses as long as she could.

Propriety though, at least demanded some of her attention, and reality too quickly caught up with her. "Okay," she said, taking a breath. "There.." she bit her bottom lip, shook her head a little. "There is something else I have to tell you, Yul-san but.." she looked down as much as she could. "Two days.. after this is all over, yea? Before we leave."

Yul let her stay in the hug as long as she wanted. "Okay." He agreed gently, releasing her.

"Ummm..." Yul's frown was as gentle as his smiles were. "Sure, of course. If you'd like." His lips twitched a little. "You've got me all curious what it's about, though. Nothing too serious, I hope?"

Slipping away when he did, she glanced around for a moment of time. When she looked back she smiled a little, "Nothing you need to worry about, Yul-san," she nodded. "You can trust me on that, yea?"

Yul smiled. "Okay. Of course I trust you, Ichika-san."

He rubbed his hands together. "Okay! Did you want to see about the yukata..." his eyebrows went up, "-or did you want to see about the dango. Or hey, there's always both!"

"Both," she said, smiling brightly as she slipped forward and onto her feet with a little pep to her step. Standing there she paused for a moment, thinking as she nodded. Stepping forward twice she stopped again. Spinning about a little she leaned forward, "Hey," she said letting him focus on that smile turning a little mischievous. "Close your eyes and open your hands for me a second?"

Smiling, Yul started to go with her, but he stopped as she turned around. "Oh?" Yul grinned. "Well, speaking of getting me curious. But okay. I'm game."

He closed his eyes, holding his hands out towards her, palms up.

Watching him for a moment she let her smile settle. Standing up straighter she brought her arm up, the little purse dangling from her wrist. Opening it up she dug through it a little. In one of the crevices she found the pictures with her and Chiyoko, smiling to herself when she saw them. Pulling them forward she revealed a voucher, the voucher for the Snow-Moon-Flower that she'd gotten all those days ago.

Pulling the voucher for two out she waved it a little in her hand, regarding Yul as he stood there for a moment. A soft raise and drop of her chest she nodded. Stepping forward she carefully lay the voucher in his hands as to make it seem like it fell into them and not simply placed there.

Stepping away she smiled brightly again, looking to Yul, "Okay, open."

As he waited, Yul made something exaggerated 'I'm not looking but I want to' faces at her, scrunching up his face and grimacing. His hands twitched as the voucher dropped into them, and his eyes opened at her permission.

He looked at it curiously, and then more intently as he read. "Ichika-san... wow, is this what I think it is?" He looked at her, eyebrows still up.

"I don't know, what is it?" she said, stepping forward. Brushing along her forehead, holding her hair to the side of her head as she looked down.

"Wow, that must be some luck huh! Wonder where it came from Yul-san, not every day you see a voucher for a place like that appear out of nowhere like that.. I heard they were giving them out to people who did really well at that ikebana thing early on yea?" she suggested, looking up to him as she stepped back a bit.

Mimicking disbelief, "Almost gotta wonder how it got here, yea?" she said, giggling a little without restraint. "Maybe it's meant to be, hmm? Maybe you should consult Nakauchi Mumei-san about it?"

"Oh." Yul's expression softened, his eyes going briefly distant.

He refocused on Ichika, his lips twisting in amusement. "But, uh, even if this windfall suddenly mysteriously appeared in my hands, surely I'm not the most worthy recipient of it. Perhaps Ichika-san has someone she'd like to go with."

"Aren't you questioning fate a little too much Yul-san?" she asked with a light smiled as she leaned forward a little. Softening her voice, "I'm confident that it made it's way to the person who deserves it most. 'Fate' had a lot of time to consider and think on it, yea?"

Yul chuckled. "That's true. Who am I to question fate."

He looked down at the ticket, and then back up at Ichika. "This is such a nice gift. I'd love to take Mumei there. But... I worry that I'd have no way to properly repay," his lips quirked, "-fate's kindness."

"Fate doesn't always seem like it has a good reason, but it usually does, yea?" she said with a smile. Stepping back once toward the exit, tilting her head to the right. Furrowing her brow in a play of thought, "Think of it like kharma, yea? This is only the return of the same kindness you gave out, mmm?" she stepped back twice more and with a giggle she spun about on her heel.

"Come on, let's go. I have to get the yukata and we have some dango waiting for us, yea? We can talk about everything else on the way, hmm?" she said, stopping just long enough to glance at him from over her shoulder.

Yul laughed. "Well, okay then. I accept it, with thanks." He tilted his head towards her. "Thank you, Ichika-san." He said softly, his tone warm.

He straightened. "Alright, sounds good." He grinned. "Let's get the dango on the way. I could use a little snack."

He moved to catch up, walking side by side to their next destination.
