"I'm sure there are some though." He replied thougtfully. "Though I'd think there could be at least a little break some where in there. Maybe have the six kids over eight to ten years?"

"Hmmm, you mean some downtime to raise them after birthing them? That could be useful. And six is acceptable, if on the lower side of things."

"Well, there are two of you so it could be six each. That would make an even dozen." Not that he was really encouraging a dozen children. That was just too many. Way too many.

"Ah! Perfect."
A dozen children was ideal, not too many at all.
"There really is a lot of merit to mirror matches between women, the Clan only benefits."

"I suppose you are right, two men really can't have twice as many children in the same way." At least if they didn't somehow manage several lovers, which was a possibility.

"Exactly, they'd have to adopt....although I suppose if you adopted a dozen children at the same age they'd all be able to stay as a group throughout their childhood, you'd have a squad ready to go by gempukku."

"Well, not exactly." Hayato offered with a small chuckle. "It's quite common for at least one of the men involved to take a concubine and produce offspring that way. Though occasionally the clan provides other ways."

"That's an interesting idea of how to form a squad though... I wonder if anyone has ever done it."

Concubinage always sounded very uncomfortable to Shoan, thankfully she would have made a truly terrible concubine.

"Sibling Squad sounds like a morning show on the Ikoma network....I'm sure someone must have done it, it's too good an idea to pass up."

"Probably." He agreed with a grin. "It's not the type of thing people would miss, at least for a show even if not an actual squad."

"Could also probably world for some sort of band. But that wouldn't be as cool."

"...Unless they were a military band! Hayato-san you're a genius!"

"Did you ever have any doubt?" He asked raising an eyebrow and looking towards the lion. At least in the mast it was an expression she could see.

"... I know the answer, it's many times. Isn't it?"

"Near constantly from when I wake up in the morning to when I go to sleep, but...you have your moments."

"Oh? I occupy your thoughts that much?" The teasing in his tone was punctuated by a sneeze, which probably ruined the feeling.

Gamely though the Mantis carried on. "That's quite flattering, Shoan-san."

"Be flattered all you want Hayato-san."
Demurely
"But you know my pure heart beats for one samurai, the purest thighs on the whole planet."

That brought a chuckle from his lips. "I know, I know." He shook his head a bit of mischief in his eyes. "Though now I'm wondering if those thighs are as pure as your thoughts about them."

Blink blink
"Well I've never really seen them up close, but if there's a scar here or there that's fine. It is about the soul of the thighs."

"I suppose that is quite importnat." Hayato observed thoughtfully. "Though I have to admit I was refering to what you were thinking about doing with them when you found yourself examining them." He teased.

"Not that such is any business of mine."

Shoan gets shifty eyes for a moment
"....Well I mean, you know. There are lots of muscles in the thighs, health thighs mean a health wife, uh, healthy life."

He paused a moment perhaps imaging another pair of thighs he had seen earlier in the miai... Or perhaps many different thighs he had seen over the course of the miai. "You know, I would have to agree with you there."

Shoan observes Hayato considering the thighs fo the world
"Well exactly, they say a lot about a samurai. I would not trust someone without them."
