"You are a badass." He agrred an amused smile on his lips as he glanced at Shoan. "I have seen it first hand."

"That doesn't you can't be cute though. At least occasionally."

"Hmmmmph. Well, clearly I need to be more intimidating...no-one will take me seriously if I am accidentally cute."
She crosses her arms, looking down her nose
"I will live my life like this from now on."

Hayato grinned, but tried to wipe it off his face in quick order.

If he kept facing her it would never hold up though and so he looked away. "That's ccertainly intimidating Shoan-san, not cute at all."

"...This is super intimidating, it's a power pose we all get taught in the dojo....you are definitely turning away because you're so intimidated right now!"

"That is certainly it, Shoan-san." He replied though there wa sa touch of laughter in his voice. "I just can't stand to look at you as intimidating as you are right now." Yup, that was a bit of a giggle at the end there.

Shoan huffs and turns away, arms still crossed

"I can definitely hear the fear in your voice! My biceps have you trembling."

"Absoluetly, I can even feel them flexing under all that armor you're wearing." They were likely about to throttle a stupid mantis that couldn't stop snickering as he looked away.

Shoan glances down at her arms
"...Wait, no you can't! I was clenching my deltoids!"

"Oh!" Hayato glanced her way and smile. "Well, they uh, sound the same?" He offered somewhat lamely, and amused smile on his lips. Though at the very least he managed to not snicker for the time being.

"...." Ah ha!
"And so then Hayato-san, where are the deltoids located?"

Hayato turned her was a serious expression on his face. "Well..." He glanced down perhaps a bit ashamed, it was hard to say.

"I recall trying to fondle yours earlier, but the armor was in the way."

"Hmmm, a bluff....definitely a bluff. But a nice save none the less. It's lucky for you my armour took the hit."

"Indeed." He agreed with a slight smile. "I might have been sent flying over the jeep here had it not been there to save me." That's how it worked when dealing with lions righ?

"Indeed you might have. But part of having Matsu strength is knowing when to be Matsu calm."
Shoan nods as if that explained everything

"Mmm... I see you were saving the throwing for the off chance i tried to kiss you." Hayato replied with a thoughtful nod. "Or at least I think that's what you mean." He finished with a sfoft chuckle.

"That would have been quite interesting Hayato-san, I think if you had attempted that we could have seen if you bounced."

"I'm have it on good authority that I don't bounce very well." He replied with an amused smile. "Though I don't think a kiss was ever in the cards for what I had planned today."

Nodding solemnly

"Because you don't bounce very well."

"Exactly." He agreed with a nod. "And one has to keep their abilities in mind when considering these things."

"The overconfident samurai bounces highest, but they do not bounce well."
