"Augh...I don't know..." she mumbled, putting a hand on her side and wincing from what she was touch. "Maybe I'll be busy then. I might just skip out and take it easy in bed."

"I keep telling you to get to sleep, and I'm your safety expert, remember?" Koseki smirked at Eriko.

He gave his thanks and farewells to all the others as they started to leave. "Speaking of which, I'm just going to catch a few hours of sleep while you're all still awake. Glad to hear Yul-san got the tsukai, I'll just keep watch for not-really-Ronin."

Assuming no-one complained he found a corner and promptly went to sleep. It was one of the skills you learned quickly as a space miner: sleep anywhere, anywhen.

Eriko couldn't really get a look at Koseki now that she was laying down but she was sure to flash a salute that was directed at him.

"Hai, Hotaru-sama! Sorry, missed that part in the manual. You heard the expert, Hide-san. I think I'm just going to skip out on Tanabata. I hope you understand..." she looked at Hide apologetically before closing her eyes.

“Wait, what?!” Hide looked between the two, alarmed and a bit annoyed that at least Eriko closed her eyes. Well, she can’t really blame her. She sighed, running a hand through her hair. “Sleep well.”

Akihiko backs off of Mio, curious to see where her budding rapport with Akemi might lead. You're also half-asleep on your feet, genius.

The Lion quietly offers Koseki the uncomfortable mediation cushion or one of the small futons that had been brought. "Hotaru-san, for everything today, thank you," he says, quietly enough it's probably not heard as Hide and Eriko talk. "Your help keeping Matsu-san safe is greatly appreciated."

After her conversation with Eriko concludes, Akihiko gives Hide a double raised eyebrow: Everything all right?

"Hmm? Oh yeah, the sheets. Standard safety measure. Couldn't know if you would be reasonable on waking."

She untied her and waved in the general direction of the exit.

"Your weapons have been left at the sword polisher at the entrance of the hotel."

She scribbled several series of coordinates of whatever piece of paper she could put her hand on and handed it to her.

"Reunite with your partner and contact me under two days if possible. If not, find a transport for Naraku and contact my cousin there. His number is on the list. He'll have work for you."

She also added a duo of koku from her personal purse.

"As a retainer, for your business expenses."

It seemed that Mio was amazed herself that she was going to get out of this. She stood up and massaged her wrists after trying the restraints a few times earlier.

She was even more surprised she was getting paid too, taking the money and coordinates with bow. "Of course...thank you, samurai-sama!"

If there was nothing else needed from her or she wasn't going to be stopped, she would make her way out of the room before any of them could change their mind.

Akihiko doesn't stop Akemi or the ronin, although he glares at Akemi's back with enough anger to peel paint from a wall. As the ronin departs, he approaches the Crab. Quietly he says, "I still have questions. I assume you'll pass then along once your new friend is comfortable?" Akihiko's voice comes out level, only a little sarcastic.

Akemi raised an eyebrow:

"Sure. But what questions did you still have that you think a simple henchwoman could answer?"

Akihiko blinks. "That's a fair point." He exhales some of his Lion-y pique, then has to cover a yawn. "That I will respond to tomorrow." He shakes his head, trying to keep the exhaustion at bay.

"Hida Akemi-san, thank you for your help today. I really appreciate you helping to keep Matsu-san safe." He breathes a sigh of relief, which triggers another almost-yawn. "I'm glad our plan worked."

Akemi had a hard time not grinning at the words our plan.

"Sure. Hide's a friend and I'm always there for my friends."

She cast a glance in direction of Hide and Eriko and again needed to focus not to smile stupidly.

"If you don't need me anymore, I think I'll call it a day and leave you to your rest."

Unless stopped, she will bow and

Akihiko bows, deeper than is proper considering their ranks, and gives a heartfelt smile as the Crab departs.

Shion kept mostly quiet for the whole of the exchange. She had some questions on her mind, but they could be answered later... if they could be answered.

She also had some questions for Mumei on another matter, but... another time.

She could use a bath, and Stray could use a walk.

She bowed to those still in the room, as appropriate and according to her closeness to each of them, and then also takes her leave if the others won't stop her.

"Suzume-san," the Akodo catches her attention for a moment. "Your help today was critical, and it is much appreciated. Thank you."

Hide gave the proper goodbyes to the various others that had left, leaving really only Akihiko and Hide awake in the room for all the Hide knew. “Sooo... This has been a day and a half.”

Akihiko nods tiredly. "Hai, a very intense day. But our plan worked, everyone came home, and tomorrow things will be... Normal?" His voice carries a lot of doubt about that word, normal.

“Hopefully!” Hide couldn’t help but chuckle. Akihiko didn’t know the half of it. “I mean, this wasn’t my first deadly adventure here on this planet. Hopefully it will be the last. I kind of just want to get my spouse picked and get off this planet.”

"Multiple deadly adventures?" Akihiko raises an eyebrow, but the effect is lost as he has to fight off a yawn. "Matsu-san, are you..." He stops, conscious of the situation, the day they've all suffered through. He gives her a look that he hopes she'll understand, the one his big sisters would give him so often: Are you sure you want to do that?

Hide just returns a look that just screams confidence in what she’s doing and plans on doing. “Don’t worry about me, Akodo-sama. Those Scion guys are after you, not me. Gotta worry about your next move. And how to make sure your chosen spouse doesn’t get dragged in.”

Akihiko's tired face smiles weakly. "Yeah. Yeah, you're right." He takes the warning to heart.

"You did great work today. I don't know how your other adventures have gone, but I would be comfortable recommending you for promotion or advanced training. Since obviously no one is keeping you off the front lines."
