"Is that some sort of Lion saying?" Hayato asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Or did you make it up just now." It could be either.

"It is wisdom from the 'Book of Shoan'. It should be studied by all samurai."

"Ah." He nods to that.

"You'll have to send me a copy."

She taps her forehead, where all books are kept
"You can only read the book of Shoan by experiencing the book of life....that's the first sentence of the Book of Shoan."

"I see." Hayato replied with a thoughtful nod. "Well, I think I like living and reading the book of Hayato better."

"So...." He shrugged.

"...You do not have a book of Hayato."

"I don't."

He glanced at Shoan. "How do you know?"

"...."
Solemnly
"I may be psychic."

He stared back at her for a moment.

Taking a long slow breath he finally spoke. "Then tell me Kitsu-san's three sizes."

Shoan opens her mouth and gapes like a fish for a few moments
"Well...I mean....this...I am psychically reading this is a trick question!"

That caused the Mantis to laugh, and shake his head, and it took him a moment to stop so he could respond.

"I think you might have a point there." He finally replied, amusement evident in his tone.

"Ah ha! I told you I might be psychic"
Triumphantly
"I am wise...and unable to measure people with my eyes, but I think she's you know....bigger in some places than others, like most samurai."

"I mean, you don't need to measure her with your eyes. You just need to read the information from here mind. I mean you might be psychic and all." Hayato replied with a few nods to emphasize his point.

"Though I suppose I have noticed that, at least when we were doing the dance machines together when we first met."

Eyes widening
"You danced with her?!?!"

"Well, kind of." Hayato replied somewhat vaguely.

"We met at the arcade on my first day here, and we danced on the Moshi Moshi machine together. Ended up winning a pair of pins too. So turned out to be pretty fun."

"...Jealousy is unbecoming of a samurai and I want you to know I don't feel any...."
Pause
"Well, very little."
A longer pause
"I may be jealous."

Hayato turned then stuck his tongue out at the Lioness playfully.

"You'll have time to dance with Kitsu-san."

"Just give it time."

"...Was she a good dancer?....Oh no, what if we're dancing and I strike her with my elbow? She's shorter than I am, it might hit her in the face!"

"No, but neither am I really." Hayato replied with a chuckle. "And don't worry about hitting her, just be conscious of her presence and your elbows will stay away.

Well, usually.

".....Well, I am very conscious of my presence around her, so that hopefully will not be difficult.....but it's good she likes arcade machines. I...sort of collect them now?"
