"It's truly a mystically liquid, second only to coffee really." Hayato replied, setting his drink can to the side and moving to his side of the machine.

"Alright then, now is as good as ever." He said before pressing the buttons to get the dance started.

"I would say water is the most mystical of all," Nozomi commented with a warm smile. She looked to her drink and then shrugged. "It just doesn't taste as good."

The priestess stepped up to the platform and followed along with the instructions quite well. She looked over to Hayato to observe his progress, long enough for her to start making a mess of it all. "Woah, woah, woah," she murmured to herself, trying to find the right beat but never quite getting it.

"Well, water is quite nice, ill give it that." It wasn't coffee of course, but then what was.

As the machine started, he did fairly well, though had no way of matching her until the Kitsu started having trouble as well, and by the end of it the were both doing equally poorly.

Nozomi looked around after the whole thing was done for any prying eyes. Once satisfied, she looked back in her companion's direction. "So, uh, what does this result mean for us?"

He glanced at the screen then down at the machine at it printed out a small collection recipet. "Well, we didn't do too well, but we were pretty in sync near the end at least so it seems like we won some sort of prize?"

"So yay us?" He offered after a moment.

"You can get rewarded for doing poorly together?" she asked before smiling, "That is a bit weird."

"Well, if you hadn't noticed it's kinda hard to be in sync with someone you just met. So I guess it's just rewarding good team work." He picked up his can of Tea and took a sip. "Though if you take into account how poorly we did, I think it is just a little bit silly like you said."

"Was it made with the miai in mind then?" Nozomi questioned, taking a ticket of her own. She looked at her can and then started to laugh. "Is it a Phoenix thing to award failure then?"

He wrapped his knuckles on the machine. "Nah this seems for then a few years old. Though that might be an amusing idea. Creating games to test people's compatability or somethign and debuting them at a miai."

He chuckled and shook his head. "You know it just might be, but then again they may be awarding teamwork and cooperation instead of skill. That way mroe peopel can taste success?"

"Maybe that will be one of the future events! Might be more fun than the dinner." Nozomi patted her belly. "Though they had a good selection of food."

"Well, it could be fun if nothing else" He shook his head and chuckled. "I think i'll need a bit more practice if I am going to join in on that though."

At the mention of food he frowned slightly though. "Maybe I went into the wrong tent then, or made the mistake of only visiting the one. "The just had stew in the pink tent. There was plenty of Sake and Shoju though, no tea which was a bit weird but I did without."

"I wonder if the nakodo ever look at these results," Nozomi stated out loud, gazing at the machine.

"No tea? Really?" The Kitsu then shrugged. "I wonder if we'll have the chance to visit other tents on other nights!"

"You know they might." Hayato offered thoughtfully. "It'd be a bit weird, but you never know."

As the topic turned to tents he shrugged. "Maybe? Nit sure if they will be having a dinner like that every night though." It would be costly and this planet didn't seem exactly well off.

"The ways of the nakodo are mysterious indeed." Nozomi tapped her chin in thought. Such a thing was not meant for her.

"Aw," she said out loud, "I quite enjoy it though! Even if I didn't talk with many people."

"It would be nice to see more banquets like that" Hayato agreed. "It made it pretty easy to get to know some of the others here, being as we were all more or less sycuk in one place."

"Suppose someone could always put together a smaller meet and greet as it wwere, in the common room of the Inn or somethign if nothing else."

"That is certainly less formal," Nozomi mused, "But not disagreeable with me!"

"well, why don't you try putting somethign together then?" He asked with a easy smile.

"Maybe you can get some of your clanmates to help you out or something?"

"Oh? Me?" The Kitsu looked away out of pure shyness. She took a breath and looked around the arcade. "Sounds like something the Crane would do."

"I suppose it does at that." hayato replied with a wry smirk. "Doesn't mean they are the only people that could do it though, might in fact be a bit impressive to see someone else put in the effort."

He shrugged. "It was just a passing thought though."

"I am unsure if my group would do well," the Kitsu mused, putting it lightly. From what she had heard, they were mainly of the Matsu sort.
