"I'm sure that you'll be able to thoroughly ensnare someone in silk to test out designs. I am sure that many would jump at the opportunity to display the latest fashions from your company, especially if they are cutting edge. A courtier would perhaps be more eager, but there are many who would like to look striking."

He finishes off his tea and a servant refills the cup idly.

"'Rocks, fungi, and really big lizards.'" Maiko repeated back to herself. She looked like she wanted to say something then thought the better of it.

"And now a miai, right? Lots of off-worlders, preening and strutting, trying to get favorable matches before heading off back to fortunes know where. What do you think about that?"

"Sounds like a real tool, though getting all the clans to agree on something is rather amazing, and a noble pursuit I guess"

"Sure thing Seppun-sama! I'm ok with it just being us though" Nara said with a smile, taking out her communicator to give Michiya the number "and there's computers in all the hotels right? I'm sure we can find it on there! In fact I'm certain we can!"

"It's fascinating," Moriko admittedly artlessly, "it's like watching a herd of fezaraptors flocking back their mating grounds each year. None of them live there, and after the courting they scatter back off to their homes."

Atena nodded. "I am Moshi Atena by the way." She gave a seated bow. "Would you ike to read it? I think i can download the digital copy."

Offers his Densai over to her, "Please" He pauses "Oh sorry Kuni Koryn"

She nodded, taking the densai. She connected to the network and downloaded the book from her account. She signed out and deleted her information. "There you go Kuni san. I hope you enjoy the book."

"Of course, I have no doubt," she noted. "Not that I plan on finding a partner based on their desire for free fashion. A partner, not a sycophant."

"I'll look through what the Snow Maiden has available, but most of what I saw earlier was religious sermons and some Phoenix programming. Though as I understand it, it's not common for the clans to carry shows and networks outside their own, unless there is an alliance between them. One of the things I'll miss about the capital I imagine. Most of the shows that the clans produced were easily available there with all the clans having a presence on the planet."

He smiles, "Thank you, I am sure I will1"

"Your welcome Kuni san." She smiled. "So how are you enjoying this evening?" She decided to put the book back into her bag. "Are you enjoying the exotic things?"

"I....feel a little like a fish out of water, at least the food here is very similar to my homeworld" He waves at the table. "I spent much of the day looking for the Crab Embassy to no avail."

"I doubt there is an embassy for clans here... I also feel kind of strange. More like a worm in a chicken coup." The Moshi chuckled. "A book worm in chicken coup." She scratched the back of her neck sheepishly. "Lame joke neh?"

"Hmm, I think you're right. Still, even if we can't watch my show, we could watch something. I could even give my artistic commentary!" Nara said with a giggle "the Phoenix and the Spider sadly have no alliance, meaning they'll be missing out on our wonderful programming. There's some documentaries on the planets the Spider have claimed for Rokugan that I think would be fascinating."

"I would hope not. That would be a waste of time and of life and most hold those two things to be quite close. In any event, I wish you good fortune on your hunt for a suitable partner."

He offers a bow and would depart barring any attempt to further hold his attention.

He grins, "Not that lame, unless you count that the worm has no legs?"

"We will see," he says with a nod. "What do you do for fun when you aren't on set?"

"Then a Centipede in a chicken coup..." She chuckled again. "Are you going to race tomorrow Kuni san?"

She gave a slight bow to Geppu as he left, keeping her eyes on him until his disappeared from view before going back to her tea.
