Moto Ganbold's arrival in the dojo space was heralded by an audible gasp. Synthetic mats!!! Neat! Oh, they're soft!

He let his toes sink a little into the mats, testing their springiness, but, remembering his etiquette, he turned and paid his respects to the dojo gods immediately after.

Then he made his way over to the bokken. Hmmm...mushroomy, he thought as he casually swung one once or twice through the air. Not so different...I guess.

Moshi Atena besides getting her brain to exercise, had to also exercise the body. The Moshi entered taking off her shoes. She nodded to the Moto and started to stretch.

Ganbold, meanwhile, launched into a set of typically Moto kata--which is to say he lunged forward, spun with the sword held precisely at neck height, and then finished with a serious overhand chop. The kind that severed limbs. For such an affable samurai, his fighting style is vicious.

Pausing for a breath after that burst of exertion, he nodded to the Moshi as a fellow dojo-occupant.

He would note that the Moshi is not using a weapon. She is making her jiujutsu kata after stretching. Probably could use a partner to later spar.

"You a puncher, huh?" Ganbold called from across the chamber while they paused in their kata. "A fisticuffs kinda gal?"

"Well... yes... one must be able to defend one self." She nodded. "I wouldn't call it a fisticuffs though... brawler... even if i don't really share the believes of the Yoritomo to make it into a sport."

"Cool, cool." Ganbold nodded easily. "Prefer the sword, myself, but I've gotten into a scrap or two fist-wise."

"Well... I guess sword are good for a fight to the death... but I just prefer to render the opponent unconscious rather than a posible bleeding to death and get that into my... conscience. " She shrugged.

Ganbold pursed his lips to think about that. Was the spilling of blood on his conscience? Hmmm....

"I guess that's just never really occurred to me, Moshi-san. I mean, it's sorta my job to spill the blood of the enemies of the Unicorn. So...I do. Not much to it, I guess. Still, it's good to have a code."

"Well then keep up the good job, as long is not my head and blood that you will spill. I shall continue to do my relay of instructions to the fleets and the lines." She shrugged. "

"Cool..." Ganbold shrugged right on back and got back to business.

Atena nodded. She continued her kata. She made a mental note.
