The day is as hot and humid as the day before. Locals can be seen meandering around in loose, almost transparent garments. In shantytown, the brotherhood dispenses recycled bottled water for the heimin and eta. The air is still, making the heat all the worse. The sunset brings no respite as the night is uncomfortably hot as the day.

Today the Miya News and Entertainment Network is streaming the 'Gateway' at 'Late Evening' time slot. Characters may either watch the broadcast on the screens of their hotel rooms or on the screen in the common room of the Wisteria Inn. Characters with densai or similar device may watch the movie wherever they want, though the image quality will be questionable at best.

Gateway
People find themselves puzzled by a rash of disappearances and suicides around the city that are linked by cryptic messages left on computers, densai and communicators. Soon enough, it becomes apparent in this horrifying vision of the world that devices around the city are not powered by the kami but souls of the dead. The protagonists desperately attempt to flee from civilization as the dead use every device to either enter the realm of the living or pull the living into the realm of the dead.
