Akodo Akihiko, trying to remember how he'd orchestrated social events before the military became his whole life, felt like he'd done a reasonable job. Food for five people, with seating at a table large enough to be comfortable but still small enough that no shouted conversation would be needed. With a calming sigh, he began waiting as patiently as a Lion fighter ace could be expected to.

"Akodo-sama"
Shoan's tone is respectful as the tall lion makes her way through the room, carefully winding her way around other tables before reaching the lion meeting and bowing deeply

"Thank you for organising today's meeting. I am Shoan of the Murame who serve the Ikoma."
She looks Akihiko over, a little curious about the Akodo.

Sunglasses? Check.

Service Uniform? Clean and Pressed.

Chiyoko found her way into the Snow Maiden, not bothering to take her sunglasses off as she got inside. The Lion service uniform at least presented the impression of formality, even if it defaulted to being a *bit* more military than some of the upper class here might prefer. But it wasn't a thing she cared about. What she did care about was that she found two Lion sitting at one of the tables. Those must be the ones who sent the missive.

She approached. Bowed. Perfect military standard bow to a superior. "Miina-san. This one is Matsu Chiyoko, Matsu Infantry, Sharpshooter Division."

Uniform? Yeah, Hide was in it. But she didn’t look nearly as cool as the other Matsu that walked in. Nor did she have those awesome sunglasses. Also she was shorter. Still, she oozed the confidence of someone that, did, in fact surf on a giant space chicken just a bit ago.

“Afternoon, cousins. I’m Matsu Hide. Marine.” She offered a bow to those gathered.

"Welcome cousins," Akihiko said, bowing and smiling widely. "I am Akodo Akihiko, Gunso of 4th Flight of the 'Long Claws' fighter squadron. I am honored by your presence. Please refresh yourselves with food and drink, and we shall begin form--ah, not so formally--very soon." The beaming smile continues, like the benevolent commander ensuring his troops are provided for.

Chiyoko did as she was told, sitting in a more formal posture regardless of Akihiko's statement. She pushed her sunglasses up onto her forehead, ensuring everyone could see her eyes. "Thank you for making arrangements, Akodo-sama," she spoke crisply and calmly.

Nozomi hadn't had the time to clean up especially nicely for this meeting. All she had managed was to get the dirt and grime from the otori encounter.

"Oh. I have not been diligent in meeting everyone in our clan," she commented when she arrived, "I recognize a couple of you. But for those of you who do not know me, I am Kitsu Nozomi."

Hide took a seat and made herself at home. The Kitsu that entered caught the shorter Matsu’s attention. A shame she was off the table for prospects. “A pleasure to meet all of you. I hope everyone is all settled in? Enjoying the stay?”

"It has been....interesting."
Shoan politely waits for the samurai outranking her to be served first before quietly settling in

Chiyoko narrowed her eyes at Nozomi for a moment as she was pouring out some tea. And then they suddenly brightened. "Oh! You are from the bathhouse yesterday! Hello again!"

"That would be me." Nozomi took her seat and idly looked at everyone else present. "It is early for any such decisions but it could happen... has anyone found a suitor they are particularly fond of ending up with?"

“Oh, are we going to share our... Lists?” Hide looked across the room, gauging everyone’s interest in the idea. “Of, well, potential suitors. Like Kitsu-san has suggested.”

"...."
Shoan takes out a small sheet of paper and carefully places it face down on the table
"My list is quite short."

Chiyoko blinked a moment. "My list likely contains most of the people I have met," she admitted. "Which makes it fairly unreliable a list. Though I am less amenable to those who have been... too fascinated with my representation on the Ikoma Informators."

“My list is also not very long. Given what our Clan prefers, I’ve been looking more into the Crab and the Dragon... But the Dragon have no representation.” Hide watched as Shoan wrote down her list. “Oh, I should have brought something to write with. Anybody have something I can write my list on?”

“Ah, thank you so much.” The Matsu took a few moments, scribbling fiercely as she put her list into actuality. She took a moment to look over the list, but then went back to scribbling out the final touches before flipping it down much like Shoan had.

"Everyone was writing it down?" Nozomi tapped her chin and then shrugged. "I haven't made any conclusions yet myself. But I am wanting to see how to proceed based on the rest of your observations."

Chiyoko takes a piece of paper and scribbles down her list, setting it face down as well.

“Maybe we could flip our lists at the same time? That might be the truest way to gauge our opinions of those we have met at the Miai?”
