Hide had taken time earlier in the day to start organizing the drinks she promised to the group that had to suffer the midnight transport shuttle to get to this miai with her.



Satisfied with her very basic instructions, leaned back against the bar counter and slipped her communicator back into her pocket. She ran a hand through her loosely tied back hair while the other moved to straighten her tie. They may have been people that had been friendly on the shuttle, but they were also all potential matches. So looking at least decent was a must.

The tall Hare muscled his way through the crowd at the night club. He was dressed well...for a minor clan nikutai with no fashion sense. That is, shabbily. Well, some might say. Others might say he was dressed AWESOME.

"Konbanwa Matsu-san." He semi-yelled over the sounds of the music and the crowd, flashing a friendly smile.

There's supposed to be dancing here, so Mumei's donned her practice clothes: blue tights with several holes in them and an iridescent purple leotard. It is *not* fashionable. But it's fantastic for freedom of movement. The loose half of her hair sways around her with the movement.

As soon as she steps in the door, she can feel the music thrumming through her. Head, shoulders, and hips strut with the beat as she effortlessly weaves between the crowd toward the bar. "Hey shuttle-buddies!" she calls out as she gets closer.

Well, a night club, hm? A decent enough place to relax, but an even better place to get information.

Tenma didn't have any flashy clothes or anything like that, but she did wear a pleated skirt and flower patterned sleeveless shirt that would be comfortable to dance in.

After a day of miraculously keeping out of trouble but not avoiding scrutiny, Kuni Eriko was more than available to make it to this soirée. At the very least, it would make for a great nightcap. It felt like she was trapped in the library the other day. Actually, she was quite sure that she was trapped in a library yesterday

Eriko appeared at the night club dressed in a simple short sleeve blouse and wide leg pants set that was perfect for the heat. She didn't quite go for the bar directly, standing to get a sense of the place at the front lobby.

Izumi turned up with electric blue hair put into some substance of a style rather than his usual 'wherever it wants to go' look. His clothing was worthy of a Crane and the FULL ON FOXEH was ready for a good time!

First though there was the matter of proving he was old enough to get in. Which was achieved with a lot of chat, arm waving and gesturing of his wakizashi. He didn't actually draw it but there was a distinct threat of 'bouncer-kebab' in the gestures.

Not the best of starts, but he headed over to the bar with the look of a Fox that meant to put a dent in the liquor stocks.

Hide looked to the shirt that Jin had put himself in and cracked a bit of a smile. “Bold choice, Ujina-sama.”

When the Osprey got to the bar, Hide turned her attention to her with a big grin. “Hey there, roomie. I hope you’re ready for a great night, but probably a less-than-stellar morning.”

The next to get there was the Fox. And oh boy did he look ready. Hide was impressed. “Now, you look like a man that’s ready to party, Kitsune-sama.”

The Matsu turns her attention to the group. Still missing the Kuni. She’d probably turn up. “So, is this anyone’s first time to a night club?”

"Hai. Not the kind of place that's where I'm at usually. There is a pretty good club at my hometown, but that was a side building of the local stables, so." He shrugged then smiled. "What? You think I'm not up to current fashions Matsu-san?"

Eriko was probably waiting to hit that 'fashionably late' bar and made her timely appearance after everyone had made it to the bar. She dipped in a quick bow and smirked at everyone, "Good evening, minisama. Not quite the place I was thinking but leave it to Matsu-san to pick the best and swanky place in town."

On the opposite side of the bar, Shokomaru was still at the club, still drinking and smoking. A new party of samurai had arrived though and he watched them for a moment, looking over his shoulder from time to time.

Quite a group. Oh, one's that Kitsune though...and there's the Kuni everyone keeps talking about in Discord. Hmm...

He sipped his drink then lit another smoke, staying right where he was. He'd been a good boy so far that night, no sense in messing it all up quite yet.

The Matsu gave Jin a smirk as he asked about his shirt. “Well, all I’m saying is that it’s a bold choice. You’re showing all the participants that you’ll make a great dad one day with that shirt.” Her tone, of course, teasing. “Hey, you actually pull it off, though.”

Her eyes then drifted over to the Kuni as she made her entrance. She wasn’t sure if that was a compliment or not, but she rolled with it. With a big grin, even. “Well, of course I chose some place nice. Wouldn’t want to disappoint any of you.” Her grin then faded into just a slight smile. “Ah, you look very nice, Kuni-san.”

"Woah!GreatshirtUjina-san!!!!"

He grinned up at Jin and the others.

"Wehaveaplanorisitjustfreeforall?"

Hide turned her attention to the small Fox and gave him a thoughtful look. “Well, Kitsune-sama. The plan is for us all to have a good time... So let’s all get some drinks!”

Which, all in all, meant the ‘plan’ was free-for-all all along.

"Great!!!!"

With a big smile Izumi headed straight to the bar and ordered something large, colourful, very alcoholic, with added taurine, and an umbrella in it.

"Eh, Kuni-san, what do you think of my shirt?" Jin asked with a smile meant to be dashing. "Matsu-san thinks it sends a bold message, and Kitsune-sama likes it. What's your vote?" He asked as he waved towards the bartender. "The fungal sake yesterday was actually pretty good!"

Ishiyo had arrived some time after the Spider, she didn't really have much in the way of club wear. But stylish Crane was stylish regardless and while her clothing was tame it still looked good. She moved up to the bar not too far from the Daigotsu. Close enough to be easily pulled into a conversation.

This looks like...

Shokomaru went over what Katsuo had said. He heard it in Katsuo's voice and a lot of the words were replaced with even cruder things than what Katsuo had actually said. He blamed Katsuo.

hmm...

The young chuui cleared his throat. Well, young in some manner. Too old in others, despite that he plastered a smile back on his face and moved forward slightly as he turned to face her, best to not make it seem like he's just sliding right over.

"Excuse me, ano...Daidoji-san?" he hazarded the guess, but likely knew. There was a bow from the shoulders, enough for the informal setting. "I'm Daigotsu Shokomaru, do you mind if I join you for a drink?"

Akemi wasn't exactly sure what demon did push here to come nack to that place. She was dressed for business (yes, she had only three styles: business, casual and armored; and all business suits pretty much looked the same).

At first she relaxed seeing friendly familiar faces.

Then her heart missed a beat when she recognized a differently familiar face.

She spotted who she supposed was the Kuni that had such a reputation around there, and walked to her following a roundabout path so as to keep as much distance between the Daigotsu and her.



"It definitely helps you stand out Ujina-sama." she said as she introduced herself "subtly" in the conversation.

"Hmm yes?" Ishiyo turned to see who had addressed her, blue eyes studying the Spider for just a second before she returned the bow.

"A pleasure Daigotsu-sama," a smile appeared on her face, "Daidoji Ishiyo, and if you wish I would be honohed." She shifted a bit to make room.

Honohed? ...that's quite the accent. Try not to make a big deal.

"Much thanks", he said and waved the bartender over again, then did make with the scooting toward her, but he didn't crowd the girl. "What's your drink? Something from the house's specialty or do you prefer staples found anywhere in the empire?"


When he saw her enter the bar, he felt something happen, but he wasn't sure what. He stayed focused on Ishiyo.

A wink. he couldn't help it.
