"Getting grounded like that is the wooorst," she said with a groan aimed at the ceiling it seemed.

Her hand went to her thigh for a moment to show something. "I think the worst bump I took was a year ago when someone landed on me weird...probably my fault. I was still new, still am compared to everyone else. The shugenja were good but still kind hard to just walk off some torn muscles even after everything was said and done. I was still limping for a while and missed a few weeks. Kind of went stir crazy, I thought I was legit going to rip someone's head off."

"Yeah. I was basically stuck in my room for a couple months after I broke my leg," he said, patting his left thigh. "That was a couple years ago. But I remember the frustration of not being able to go anywhere and do anything."

"Did you try to get out?" She offered in almost a conspiratorial manner. "I guess even then, not so fun between dragging yourself and therapy."

"...Where and how did you break it?" She asked curiously, perhaps prying more than her proper stature. It seemed like an Imperial with a cushy position would never suffer that in their lifetime.

"I was visiting an aunt that lived outside the capital and she was letting me drive a recreational vehicle. I was not overly experienced, and still am not, so I ended up wrecking it. I had been off on my own without any attendants or supervision. Probably not the best choice I could have made. Lost control in some mud and and drove straight into an old rotted out tree. The tree came down and pinned my leg between itself and the vehicle, snapping my femur in the process. Couldn't move the tree and I sat out there for a good 12 hours before they noticed I hadn't come back, organized a search and finally found me."

Chiyoko couldn't help but give a long blink at the story, perhaps not what she expected at all from the young Imperial. She felt a bit obligated to duck her head slightly in a small bow but not without showing a clear grimmace first. "Ugh...that sounds really heavy. Wow, thankfully you made it out one piece. Must have felt like forever and that's without the other things going through your mind."

"Well, accidents happen and I didn't die so I count myself lucky. And it didn't actually feel too long for me because I kept passing out from the pain and waking up to only hazy memories. It's kind of a blur. Mostly, after the pain subsided, I felt a lot of embarrassment," he shrugged. "And my father gave me a stern talking to about knowing my limits so I felt a bit ashamed about that too. But before the accident I was having a lot of fun, so I don't feel bad about the experience."

"If you say so, Seppun-sama...you just make it sound so easy, even if it didn't seem like it was all that simple. Still, that made you tougher at least," she nodded in appreciation. Much tougher than I thought...

"So, I'll be in town a few days...if you want to share some feedback on the show, I could give you my communicator details," she offered to the Imperial.

"Sure, that sounds good. Wouldn't be able to give any technical feedback since you are the pro. But I can definitely let you know what was most exciting about the show," he says with a nod, exchanging his own communicator details.

"If I wanted technical feedback, I think I got a few coaches and veterans who can keep me that. Actually, they'll likely give me that anyway...But yeah, I want to know if it was a good show. I guess I might know on the night of but hearing it personally is always good," she said before exchanging her information with Michiya.

After that was done, there was a hotel attendant who was standing beside Chiyoko, waiting for his moment to speak.

"Samurai-sama, our deep apologies for the wait. It seems that our system were overwhelmed with an update but your room is indeed reserved and ready for you."

Chiyoko looked back to Michiya. "I guess there is where I go. It was good speaking to you, Seppun-sama," she said before standing from her seat and bowing politely.

Michiya likewise offered a bow. "You as well Hiruma-san. I look forward to your match... or matches if there's more than one. Take care."

"I don't think I'm allowed to say too much under contract, Seppun-sama," she smirked and she took up her things once more. "You have nice day, now."

With that, she strolled back to the front desk to get her access to her room.
