It was pretty hard to get into a new rhythm when you arrived at a new planet, but the alcoholic beverages Hayato had drank before had had given him a helping hand in gettign to bed. Even if he was feeling it a bit the next morning.

There existed cures for these morning pains though, and some of them were found in the common room. Selecing two cans of the most caffeniated hot drink available. He picked them up and made his way to one of the nearby tables. He was seated with a cigarette lit and his densai out a few moments later. It was time to see what the day might hold...



Well that was interesting....

Coming down from her room with a slight headache, Atena made her way to the common room looking for some water. She served herself a glass and sat down. She took out her densai and see the news.

Hayato's eyes flicked up as he spotted more movement in the room, and taking a slow drag of his cigarette he exhaled before greeting his clanmate. "Morning, Moshi-san." He offered polietly, place his cigarette in the ash tray as he reached for one of his canned drinks.

She looked up and nodded. "Morning Tsuruchi san... How are you this morning?" She sipped her water. "Are you enjoying yourself?" She asked somewhat shyly

"I've got come caffeine and a smoke so i'm doing just fine." He replied an amused smile making it's way onto to his lips. "If you were reffering to at the miai in general though, yeah. I'm having a fine time."

"But then I can enjoy most places I find myself at." He considered the young woman for a moment. "You?"

"I don't quite remember what happened last night. I just hope I wasn't improper or anything like that." She sighted. "At least I made it here alive."

"Sounds a bit like you had a bit too much sake at the party last night." Picking up his unopened can of Tsugumi's black tea: exxxtra caffeine, he offered it to his clan mate.

"Want it? Might put a bit of pep back in your step."

The Moshi sighed. "I don't remember drinking last night." She took the drink and opened the can. "Let me recall... hmmm I remember being in the room meeting my room mates... taking my things and going for a walk..." She tried to remember.

Hayato frowned softly at that. It almost sounded like the young woman had been drugged. "Strange indeed... I take it nothing like this has ever happened to you before?"

Those words made her realized what happened. "Her..." The Moshi sighed. "Sadly, it happens more often than I preferred. I think I know what happened. I just wonder why. People seem very nice here."

He watched her for a few moments, but if the Moshi knew what happened he wasn't going to pry.

"True, there are a few that seem a bit...." he trailed off as he remembered the Crab girl from the night before. "Disagreeable. Most are rather pleasant though."

She closed her eyes for a few seconds perhaps thinking or letting things set in. Her mouth moved as if praying. Then she looked back at the Tsuruchi. "Well we have been here one day perhaps some people put on a mask that makes people a bit rough." She smiled. "I met a Moto yesterday and was kind of an odd encounter."

"It seems like it would be wise to put on the type of mask to make you seem agreeable, at least at a miai." Hayato offered with a smirk, and a shake of his head.

Not that it really mattered. "Oh?" He asked at her next statement. "Anything particular that made it odd?"

She sighed. "I don't if people know that they are here to meet new people. To interact and well find out compatibility and make amends with the clans... you know. But this man was a bit dry." She shrugged. "Maybe not used to the roughness of the Unicorn."

"You know, I kinda was getting the same vibe from a couple of people I met yesterday." Hayato offered with a slight frown. "I tried to set up some a meet and greet, but it fell on deaf ears."

"Still sorry to hear about the Unicorn. Manage to meet anyone else you find interesting?" He paused a moment. "If I'm not prying."

She sipped her canned tea. "Yes my roommates, a Crab and an Imperial. They were interesting." She shook her head. "Staying with a Matsu that seems to be famous."

An imperial was staying at this inn? That was odd to say ghe least. "Glad to hear you are roomed with intresting people."

"You mentioned someone famous though? Anyone I would know?"

"Yeah... I think she is know by this pseudonym of Extreme Range... or something like that. I think she like to be called Matsu Chiyoko sama." She shrugged. "I don't follow broadcast unless they are news."

"Oh." Sounded like some sniper the Lion were playing up. "Never heard of her myself, Matsu Chiyoko though? I'll try and remember the name." Though as a Lion he didn't imagine he would ever come near to marrying her.

"Yeah... she is really nice. I think she liked that I treated her like a normal person rather than a celebrity. As I understand celebrities are humans just like any other." She shrugged. "But then there are some that want all the limelight for themselves." She sighed, remembering the Susumu that she had hoped was going to play nice but hogged the conversation with the Imperial.
