She smiles again, "Hmm, if I may ask one more question. How does it feel to have gone from the cockpit to the courtroom? Do you miss being at the controls?"

"Well, I'm sure Daidoji-san will do just fine. I went from a herder to a pilot, so going the other way around shouldn't be too hard." he chuckled. "Still, I wish the best of luck to you. Hold on tight, the young birds are spirited." Naokuni winked. "Ah, this?" Pointing at his assistants, the governor paused. "I mean, it's an honor. It's an honor the same way it is an honor to fight a rear guard action. No-one really wants it, but someone has to do it." The two servants glanced at each other, visibly nervous.

"Still Asako-sama seems to have taken to the job with the zeal of his younger days. I suspect you wish to retain some of you-eh guests. New hands to help build the colony's future." Her blue eyes finally glance to the servants, "And it seems you have eager and capable help already. I know I said it was my last but...if I may what does Asako-sama see as the future of this world. Or perhaps a betteh way of asking it what does Asako-sama dreams of the future of this world look like?"

"Ah, Daidoji-san is too kind, again." he smirked. "But I think that is the way. Whatever you in life you should do it so that you have no regrets. Ba... ahem, with all the energy you have." The assistants sighed in relied, well aware of what he had almost said. "Well, I'd keep most of them, really." the governor admitted. "It's the Spider I don't care about. But as Daidoji-san knows, politics." he shrugged. "The future? Oh, I could talk about that for ages. See, I would want to expand the city. Build few spirit furnaces, set up proper production facilities for chemicals and forges to make high grade plasteed locally. Set up proper production for solar panels. Expand the colonies to the west, build irrigation system to reclaim the great desert. But some of the people, pfft. They would want rather to keep the nature untouched. Alas, nature does not pay you koku!"

"There is much untouched natural beauty on you-eh world Asako-sama." Ishiyo smiled in turn, "It would be a pity to lose all of it."

She looked over to the rising sun, "I feah I have taken up too much of you-eh time Asako-sama. Though I hope you did not find it a waste listening to and enduring a young lady's questions." Her smile a tone were jovial.

"There is. But there's also the matter of koku." he noted. "What good is desert for me, I ask you. Nothing, nothing I say!" the governor seemed rather agitated. "I would want Asakaze become another Soradake! Millions and millions of samurai, blooming economy. I trust we could do it." Again, his assistants looked rather distraught.

"Ah, yes,of course." Naokuni nodded, glancing at the densai his assistant was holding. "It is late, the birds are getting here soon. Daidoji-san should probably head to the farms if she wants to be on time"

"I am sure in time Asako-sama it will be, how could it no be with the strength of you-eh convictions." Ishiyo smiled and bowed, "Thank you for the enjoyable time, Asako-sama."
