Ichika was walking about the back of the arcade when the big thing happened. Coming around the corner she'd been humming to herself while putting the thin pink plastic glasses up onto her face, careful not to disturb her eye-patch. Once she saw what had happened though she pushed herself up onto her toes and looked over the crowd from where she was, seeing that there were capable hands on the sight she let herself fall back down onto her feet and glance around.

Bringing her arms up she crossed them in front of herself for a moment before glancing around.

Kicked out of the only game she had fun with this evening, Akemi just wandered the arcade, eating from a big bag of candies and offering some to all she met and recognized, until the sound of the commotion reached her ears.

"Is there an issue Moshi-san?"

She gave a quizzical look to the Isawa, and felt like she had to justify herself:

"Moshi-san is my roommate."

"...My apologies?" Hakue said with a bit of uncertainty at the Moshi's ramblings

She gave a glance at the keycard when it was presented and bobbed her head. "It would seem so. Do you recall your roommates? Are they here?"

The questions were really to test Atena's frame of mind after her seizure than an attempt to pry too much into her business. As Hakue walked with her, she would keep an eye on her breathing and where her eyes were focused. She also would subtle gesture others to make way so that nobody risked bumping into the Moshi. It was a busy arcade, after all.

Hakue gave Akemi a bow when she approached. "Good evening, Hida-san...just a small incident. It seems Moshi-san here is fine for now. Do you wish to keep an eye on her for the night? "

In-between games at the moment, Yul wandered around. It seemed like he scarcely knew where to look, although he didn't seem overwhelmed. Rather, it was just a question of where to focus his attention.

As he walked around, he gave little nods or waves to the people he'd met. And some of the people he hadn't met, just with a little less enthusiasm.

"They are," he said regarding the Otori, although he was indifferent about them. "My father surrounds himself with them for a good reason."

"There are a few Phoenix teams...while there aren't that many players locally, we do at least have a team representing the planet and all of the settlements as a whole, the Asakaze Atsushi-Tofu-Bats. They're okay. I suppose they don't exactly get enough seasonal practice in and don't have enough pieces to trade to form their core yet."

Tsugiharu glanced over at the baseball machine briefly while he considered his next move.

"Hm. Are there plans in the world's development for a baseball stadium at some point? Specialized training requires specialized facilities after all. I'm sure there are some traditionalists who would not appreciate people showing up to the Dojo with a bat, despite the parallels between sports and combat."

"I... I can certainly bring her back to our room, and me and my servant can relay ourselves to stay by her side for the whole night if need be... But... Is she in need of a medical treatment or something? She really doesn't seem fine."

The thought Don't tell me the arcade machines were poisoned too might have passed through her mind.

She sighed. "Could you please stop calling me Moshi san... I prefer Komori or Mantis san?" She frowned.

She looked at the Hida. "I wouldn't want to impose Hida san... you probably have better things to do than to take care of me."

"Nonsense Mo... Komori-san. You really need to stop thinking like that. We're all in the same boat here."

Her eyes returned to the Isawa, inquisitive about what should be done next from a medical point of view.

"I mostly train at the sports centre but it's a bit rinky-dink compared to the arenas and stadiums you find on other worlds. The farmlands work too but you lose a lot of balls in the fields. I'm pretty sure the rural farmers have taken a built of them for themselves," he shook his head, a bit irritated at that. "I don't know if we'll actually see one here...I think my father would sooner build a race track than a stadium."

The Isawa looked between the Mantis and the Crab carefully. If there was a story here, it wasn't her business. Only the Moshi's well-being.

"No, I don't think she does. There doesn't appear to be signs of persisting and she has stabilized. Please take her back for some bed rest with access to hydrating fluids. Keep her away from noises and lights." She said to the Hida. "Please do not hesitate to summon help and I will be on staff tonight."

She looked to the Mantis. "However, for your sake, Mantis-san, I would like to cast a spell. Do I have your permission? It is not mandatory but a precaution."

A small nod from the Spider.

"Well, one must find the most efficient use for a colony's resources yes? Both a race track and a stadium are a fairly significant investment of time and resources. One must balance the benefits against both the costs and the benefits of competing projects. Is the novelty of an Otori race track likely to be better for the colony in the long run than the prestige of a championship baseball team?"

A small shrug.

"Difficult questions to be sure, although I'm sure the governor is a wise man surrounded by knowledgeable advisors and will chart the best course when it comes to birds or balls."

Games played Hayato wandered around the Arcade, looking for someone who might want a handful of tickets. A fellow competitor, or even just some local Phoenix kids. He didn't really have a use for them after all, and had come to play for fun not to win prizes.

"Oh! I remember you," Nozomi called out, particularly not pointing out where they had met before. She held up her little plush and frowned. "I wanted a bigger prize."

She rolled her eyes. "Very well..." she waved her hand.

Hakue nodded and pulled out her densai to cast a spell on Atena...or whoever she might be.

Day 3, Casting Earth's Touch at TN10: 4d10o10k3 19

The earth kami empowered and strengthened Atena, hoping to deter any other repeat episodes tonight in case her condition relapses.

"Thank you for cooperating, Mantis-san. You're free to go with Hida-san, if you wish." She nodded and took a step back, she was done here unless they needed anything else from her.

"I don't doubt that father will know what is best for the Shiro." He said plainly on the matter. "I suppose there are a lot of possibilities and I know many of them are grand, seeing as he also entertained the Crab enough to host a wrestling event here. Surely, that and the otori wrangling event are meant to plant seeds for the future. Shiro Yaoke will be a very different place here once his term is up, that's for sure. It wouldn't be outside the realm of possibility to have both."

Yul turned. "Oh, hello." He flashed her a smile. "Well hey, that's not bad. I got this." He held up a mirror, decorated with orange and red mushrooms. "I like it. It'll be a good memory of this place."

Looking at Nozomi, Yul's brow creased. "Ah... sorry, you look familiar, but I'm afraid I can't remember your name. Shinjo Yul." He introduced himself with a bow, in case she was in the same boat as him.

The Kitsu peered at the mirror. First, she gave a big smile; not a single piece of food in between those teeth. Then, she noted the orange and red mushrooms before looking back towards Yul. "Definitely reminds me of our hosts," she affirmed.

"Oh," she said, a bit of disappointment in her voice. Then she returned the bow. "Kitsu Nozomi, priestess of the Lion."

"Apologies again." Yul flashed an apologetic smile. Damnit, where had he met her? He was certain he didn't remember that name.

"As it happens, I've met a few of your fellows. Murame Shoan, Matsu Chiyoko, Matsu Hide." Yul inclined his head. "All very impressive, in their ways."
