Shion kept discussing for quite some time whether or not she should go for the Retro Night at the Arcade. It would probably be a huge mess of sounds and music and talk and laughter, much more than on other days, and that might be a bit annoying..
She also wasn't sure how and whether that might be a chance to get to know any of the other participants better in such an event.... and she wasn't even sure she knew
how she should go about getting to know others and mingle with them for a Miai.
But after some time... well, why not? She would have work later today, so at least it could be some fun..
After entering, she started by doing what should be the most boring part of the night - queueing. Luckily, she managed to talk to some people and find a time when the queue was a bit shorter, so she managed to get a go at
Driftmaster.
When she finally gets a chance to race, she decides to take few risks, but performs quite well, and manages to win her race. She didn't particularly expect the cheering, but she feels good to be able to do it.

She then decides to try her hand at
Streets of Thunder 4, but first she tries to find others who might be interested in playing with her, as she remembers playing as a group was quite a bit easier. After some time, she does find others to tag with her, and together with them she beats the game without a problem. Their final score is not one of the greatest ever seen, granted, but still, it's a good playthrough.

Finally, she decides to have a go at Miko Starlight Crusaders. She has sadly not had the chance to receive training in traditional Rokugani archery, although she has seen it done a few times, but... it shouldn't be all that different from guns? It would be a fun chance to discover, at least.
She looks at some players going before her, and while some people seem to be doing some odd movements to draw their arrows, she doesn't exactly understand why. It should be a straightforward movement... shouldn't it?
Drawing her arrows as they
should be drawn, she manages a complete playthrough - once again not with a particularly remarkable score, but it's enough to see the game's ending, and she's happy at that.
D3 EE - Retro night - Reload trick on Miko Starlight Crusaders - Sleight of Hand/ Agility unskilled. TN 15:

When all is done, she holds her tickets... and doesn't exactly know what to do with them. She looks around for familiar faces, and sees Mumei.
"Konbanwa Nakauchi-san! What have you.... oi! I see you did quite well today!", she says, smiling at her. "Ah... I was thinking, any plans on what to do with the tickets? I... thought about getting the flute, but it's... odd."
